Spiritual Covering For Deliverance Workers

     As a Christian, you must share your faith because the light is for sharing. Share and you will be filled with joy (ref. Mark 16: 15-17, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons ... they will place their hands on sick people and they will get well.")

     Have a well-balanced ministry. Don't be categorized as being some kind of a kook. Mockery comes from the Satan. Guard against deception so that you don't think that you are better than others. When people look at you they should see: health, sanity, goodness, love, as well as sound scripture and doctrine. Remember that Christ has no desire to force or control anyone, but only to lead and direct. Christians and Churches should follow his lead. Stay in the mainstream of Christianity to under gird yourself. Consider turning your radio on (at a low level) to a Christian music station while you sleep.

     In Christianity we must all be warriors. That's why God gave us authority over Satan and deliverance weapons with which to fight (ref. II Cor. 10:4). The Lord provides, but you are unable to defend yourself and your family from Satan without the help of the Lord. Satan comes to devour, lower your lifestyle, and take all that you have. He will undoubtedly desire to attack you more viciously for entering the area of casting out demons. Now that you have ventured into the deliverance ministry you need to learn how to guard yourself from the attacks of Satan and all his demonic forces. Let the Holy Spirit put the name of the spirit in your mind during warfare. Also, be sure to cover the following areas in your spiritual warfare prayer life:

1. Your Home:

This is where Christianity lives or dies; Psalms (especially Psalm 101) is our warfare book. God visits you more at your home than any place else. You should:

     a. Anoint your home with oil (ref. Lev 8:10). Keep from being a casualty by covering your house, car, place you pray, property, children, wife, and yourself with oil. Do it in the name of Jesus. We are exercising faith. Do it over all windows, doors, and along the walls. (Oil is representative of the power of the Holy Spirit, God recognizes it and so do demons). Use just a little, and say:   "In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I anoint this place with oil so that no evil spirit will be able to pass the boundary of this oil." Then sprinkle a little olive oil about 20' to 30' apart around the boundary of your property. Once could be enough but, if you sense something is wrong, repeat it.

     b. Pray at home always.
     c. Bind the strongman over your house:
         1) Bind spirits of:
              � Divorce                  � Strife                      � Home wrecking
              � Finances                 � Sickness                 � Terminal Sickness
              � Lethargy                 � Ahab                      � Matriarchy (spirits of Jezebel)
         2) Break curses over your home (ref. Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge").
         3) Break curses over your possessions (This takes only 17 seconds! Be firm! Also, see paragraph 1.h). In Jesus' name, break every witchcraft curse over your:
            � House                   � Finances                 � Physical health
            � Children               � Marriage                 � Car
            � Desire to know the Lord
     d. Cast all evil spirits out of each room of your home every night before retiring. Repeat this whenever you sense the need following the spirit of discernment or the word of knowledge (ref. I Cor 12). Cast out evil spirits from each room with the following command: "I command every wicked spirit of Satan out of (name each room and possession in turn) in the name of Jesus." If there have been trouble and strife in your home cast them out with the following command: "Lord, I just ask you through the Blood of Jesus, to cancel every vile thought, word, or deed imprinted in this home. I cancel every negative thought, activity, and word that has ever occurred on this premise, through the Blood, through the Name, and through the Power of Jesus Christ by virtue of His death and resurrection."
     e. Pray daily for your wife, children, and every person in your household. The Lord gives special blessings and mercies on his deliverance workers. Ask God to send His family angels.
     f. Ask God for angels to protect your house and family.
     g. Pray for:
             � Yourself                     � Deliverance             � All your needs
             � Favor                          � Love                      � The government
     h. Allow no wicked thing in your home (ref. Psalm 101). Watch out for garage sale items. Say something like "Satan, I cancel any curse that might have come with this object in the Name of Jesus. I place the Blood of Jesus on it and cleanse it with His shed Blood."
     i. Be careful of visitors and guests in your home. Bind all demons that come in with them quietly and subliminally. Remove those who blaspheme God from your home.
