| 13. Guide to Deliverance Sessions: The bound/afflicted person needs to: Talk about his/her love for Jesus. Praise Jesus! State that Jesus Christ was the son of God and came in the flesh. Forgive: Everyone who has ever wronged him/her. Anything they did to hurt or disappoint him/her. Ask for the Lord, in Jesus name, to bring any others to mind against whom bitterness is being held, grieving the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4: 31 and Heb. 12: 15). Ask Jesus to bless those who have wronged or hurt him/her. Break all curses, hexes, etc. with the Blood of Jesus and renounce them in His Name (Galations 3: 13 & Colossians 2:13-15). The praying group of believers need to: Fast and pray first for extra power. Pray for strength and for the Lord to weaken the demon(s). Have genuine love and compassion for the victim which is repugnant to the demon(s). Take authority in Jesus over Satan and his hosts (Phil. 2: 9- 10, Eph. 1: 19- 21, and Mark 16: 15- 17). Command the demons to manifest and come out! Command them to speak in English! Repeat, "Satan is a liar!" Repeat, agape and the victim's name. Break all curses, hexes, etc. with the Blood of Jesus and renounce them in His Name (Galations 3: 13 & Colossians 2: 3-15). Send the demons back to the person who worked the curse. Know that God establishes a wall of Angels to protect His people when they meet (Hebrews 1: 4). 14. Love as a Factor in Deliverance: Love is considered to be a significant factor in our mental health and also deliverance. Demons cannot stand for their victims to receive the healing power of love. 15. To Avoid Regression after Deliverance: Commit yourself completely to Jesus (Phillipians 2:12). Study the Word of God and pray. Seek regular fellowship with a group of believers, preferably in a local Church under the direction of a God-called pastor, and men who meet scriptural qualifications for elders (I Timothy 3: 1-7).
