| NLS Course Aim: To prepare lifesavers to fulfil the lifeguard�s role as professional facilitators of safe, enjoyable aquatics. NLS Course Objectives: 1. To explore and develop the practical skills and knowledge required by lifeguards. 2. To develop a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgement and a mature and responsible attitude toward the role of the lifeguard. 3. To develop the lifeguarding skills, principles and decision-making process which will assist the lifeguard to evaluate and adapt to different aquatic facilities and emergencies. |
