This was the first time that I had ever seen Steve Vai live. Being a guitar player myself, I have always dreamed of the day when I would get to see him in person. Little did I know that on October 19, I would receive a call at about 12 noon from Richard Pike (below) telling me that I would get to go backstage to meet Mr. Vai himself.
