I believe my most important discovery would be that a person can be off up to 3 months on either side of their sun sign about half the time; and I think this is also true for moon signs and ascendents; a discovery I made first about March 1981. But the further off a person is; the less likely this seems to occur too. Thus in Astrology as in quantum physics you have a large probability of being your sun sign but this is only a probability.

The way I discovered this was by taking 135 photographs of all the sun signs and putting their birth dates on the back of the photographs and trying to line up the photos in order from Capricorn to Aquarius to Pisces on to Libra then to Scorpio and Sagittarius. I did this by observing the body type and facial expression and how the eyes appeared. I could see from this that a Taurus would be short and stocky, an Aquarius tall and thin, and a Sagittarius short and rounded while, the eyes in an Aries sign would protrude outwards for a sign in fire, a Scorpio's eyes would look like deep pools of water for a sign in water and a Taurus's eyes would look fixed like a sign for earth; for example.

It seemed like some people were harder to classify than others often, too because I couldn't see their eyes very well in the photos which is one of the most revealing features of a person. Also in some races or nationalities or blood types it was more difficult to ascertain what sign they were.

The next discovery I was to make first in October of 1987 was that the features of a persons smile determines their moon sign and ascendent where it seems like the moon sign is about two-thirds of a persons smile and the ascendent one-third. It seems too that the more extroverted moon signs in fire and air are displayed when a person smiles with their mouth open while the more introverted moon sign smiles in earth and water occur when a person smiles with their mouth closed.

Some examples of moon sign smiles are the down turned look in the frowning smile of a Capricorn moon; the happy, toothy, charming smile in a Gemini moon; the desirous imploding smile in a Scorpio moon; the firm fixed smile in a Taurus moon and finally the pearly-toothed smile in a Libra moon.

The next important discovery I made, chronologically in order, was made in about 1994, which was that each decade in a century is a different sign with the first part of the century being in cardinal signs, the middle part in a mutable sign and the last part in a fixed sign. Thus in 1900 when you cast out the nines you get one which stands for the cardinal sign Aries; 1910 would be 2 in Cancer; 1920 3 in Libra; 1930 ,4 in Capricorn; 1940 (a mutable sign), 5 in Gemini; 1950, 6 in Taurus (the following being fixed signs); 1960 , 7 in Aquarius; 1970, 8 in Scorpio; 1980 ,9 in Leo and starting the new century again 1990 would be 1 in Aries (the following being cardinal signs) and 2000 would be 2 in Cancer like previously and the next ones continuing onwards the same likewise into Libra for 2010 to 2020 and Capricorn for 2020 to 2030.

I have discovered this by noting the cultural artifacts that relate to these decades. For example: in the 1970's in Scorpio so many Parapsychology books appeared as befits this sign. In the 1980's in Leo so many books on Holism appeared and finally in the 1990's so many books on Complexity Theory appeared as befits the zeitgeist for the new century as relating so much to new frontiers with the use of the computer and the internet which relates to the dynamic aspect of Aries and the new-frontier.

I also see a certain amount of relationship in the signs of the first half of the century to those of the second half. Thus the extroverted Aries decade would relate best to the Aquarius one and the new frontier and organization. The introverted Cancer decades would relate best to the Taurus one and family values and common sense. The extroverted Libra decade would relate best to the Leo one and prosperity and rhythm. The introverted Capricorn decade would relate best to the Scorpio one and hardship and depth. Thus the signs of the first part would be 2 signs beyond the signs of the second half of the century like with Aries in 1910 versus Aquarius in 1960 and the extroverted Gemini sign in the middle of it would stand by itself as a dividing sign like it seems to be for the three twin cities areas in about the geographical center of the United States going east and west with a dualism seeming to appear with the divide.

Also I can see to a certain extent but to a lesser degree a division of a decade into different signs too which seem to be depicted in the cultural artifacts that appear in each year of that decade such as the type of book published and the cover design of it and the type of song appearing in that year also.

For example; the first sign for 1990 would be 0 for Pisces; the second for 1991 would be 1 for Aries on too 2 for Taurus for 1992; Gemini for 1993 etc. ending in Scorpio in 1998 and 8 and Sagittarius in 1999 and 9. Thus they would follow in consecutive order in signs in the decades.

If you are interested in more information for example on how each 10 degrees on the earth east and west is a different consecutive sign and on how each of the 4 basic language groups in Europe: German, English, French, and Russian is a different fixed sign and how each relates to a different field of knowledge, please refer to my essays on astrology and geography and astrology and the history of ideas.
