In the late l980's I came to see how the four fixed signs are the most basic signs. I applied them to the four main language groups in Europe and to their corresponding positions in the zodiac: Aquarius, Germany, North, (but also Greece, South,); Taurus, England, West; Leo, France, South; and Scorpio, USSR, East, (but also USA, West).

In the early 1990's I came to see how the first two fixed signs related to the left brain and the second two to the right brain side of the zodical mandala. Later I came to see how the four fixed signs related to the four fields of knowledge in chronological order. Ancient Greece was the early Aquarius sign, (the Germans as a people and Aquarians not existing in a nationalistic sense around 500 BC). Thus the Greeks relate to logic and philosophy; the English to sensation and science; the French to emotions and art and the Russians and Americans to intuition and religion.

In using the four fixed signs to describe how they relate to perception I came to see how the brain had evolved from its most primitive mode. The nervous system's response to stimulae is almost nonexistent in the single-celled animals. It is asymmetrical in the sponge, and radial in the sea star. In the most simple bilateral vertabrates such as fish, frogs, and snakes, there is a brain but it isn't much more developed. Hence I think these organisms would most be linked to God their creator. This has a parallel in the early stage of human foetal development where the lower delta waves, 0 to 3 cycles per second, of non-REM deep sleep most predominate. Hence I would relate this in the human being to the most primitive Scorpio fixed sign in water, to intuition and religion and the USSR/USA, the black race, and the continent of Africa.

Parallels in neuropsychological disorders would be primitive, amorphous, antisocial behavior and the watery haze of alcohol or drug addiction. This reflects the primitive Scorpio water sign, characterized by depth. The system is more introverted -- static water -- where the neurotransmitters would tend to be understimulated. The best treatment method without drug side effects for this psychic disorder, being in the right-brain side of the zodiac and hence more group oriented, would be turning to a higher power for guidance through communal worship, as in Alcoholics Anonymous. The emphasis is believing in something beyond ourselves, hence in believing in rewards and punishments for our behavior -- the concept of karma. This appurtains because the Scorpio sign would be closest and most dependent on God, being in the most primitive state. The closeness to God should be cause for joy.

The school of treatment in psychology most fitted to this might be Jungian psychoanalysis, where the spiritual element is so predominant. This first period of development might be known as the attachment stage. The blood type might be type O, in that it is the most primitive one. This stage would relate most to metabolic ritual and spiritual breath work in its connection to the nervous system in restoring harmonious hormonal and chemical balance. In non-REM deep sleep of the slowest delta brain wave (0 to 3 c.p.s.) one is most in contact with the spiritual planes and is most related to the trancendent visions of enlightenment. An example is the near-death experience where one is so close to the earliest stages of physical conception, hence so close to God. Here the watchword might be depth as expressed in water and the misty moon, an absorbing object standing for the static Scorpio water symbol.

The continuum proceeds from ritual in intuiton in Scorpio to symbol in emotions in Leo. The connection between the two signs is music.

Let's follow the PET scan imaging in the rear part of the head through further animal evolution, to the reptile-like birds and the more beautiful swan and peacock. The brain now appears to be more predominant. In humans the emotional, idealistic, harmonious REM dream symbol element enters perception. The organism now dreams less deeply, a step less removed from objective reality and hence more rational.

This is the symbolic second to fifth year stage of life, proceeding from the previous Scorpio symbolic stage of the foetus to two years of age. As in the first stage, here a causal sense of space and time is not much developed, though more so than in the previous stage. Preparation is being made for the next stage, which is memory and language in Taurus. Here the Leo theta wavelengths most predominate, with a little faster 4 to 7 c.p.s. activity in the REM sleep cycle. I would relate this most to human beings in the Leo fixed sign of Fire and hence to emotions in art, and France and the yellow race of Asia.

Here the relationship, according to PET scan imagery, is to the rear part of the head. The major pychic disorder would be emotional, hallucinatory, schizophrenic behavior. In the more advanced 2 to 5 years symbolic stage of life emotional symbolistic imagery perception first appears in the dream REM stage, as in the harmonious, idealistic gestalt of art. It is the more dynamic and extroverted fixed fire sign of Leo. Here the neurotransmitters would tend to be overstimulated.

I think the best treatment method for this psychic disorder without drug side effects, being on the right side of the brain of the zodiac and hence more group oriented, would be learning to be more loving and connecting more to other people -- coming to learn that imagery must be anchored to harmonious tangible people in regards to emotional expression. The school of therapy most appropriate here, where the emotional element is so predominant in this period of development, might be the Gestalt Group Interactive therapy.

This phase might be known as the socialization symbolic stage of development, from 2 to 5 years of age. The blood type here would be the second one to evolve -- type A. This Leo stage would relate to dynamic emotions and imagery as in myth and symbol, where one approaches God in REM dreaming but is further removed from Him than in the first slower deep sleep stage of Scorpio.

Here the watchword would be easygoingness in art in the radiating, flaming sun of the dynamic Leo fire symbol. It would connect in a continuum to the next fixed sign from symbolism in emotions in Leo to sensation and language in Taurus, with metaphor as the bridge.

Next would come memory in the midpart of the head, according to PET scan imagery. Taurus would represent further evolution as in such mammals as the elephant and cow, with longer memories. We now enter into the more rational, less subjective left-brained side of the zodiacal mandala proceeding from the hypnopompic or hypnogogic sleep-waking state where one transitions in and in between a mirror-like twilight zone from one brain side to the other. Now the human organism develops a more causal sense of time and space in the symbolic period from 5 years of life to about l3, or at elemenatary school age, where the concrete Taurus sign sensate thinking precedes the next Aquarius stage of consciousnes of thinking in logical abstractions. Here in the higher Taurus, Alpha brain waves come to predominate with the still faster 8 to 13 c.p.s. In memory storage the senses are most involved. Here I would relate this most to the Taurus fixed earth sign, hence to sensation and induction in Science and England and the white race in Europe.

Being in the middle of the head according to PET scan imagery, the major psychic disorder, I believe, would be depressive behavior. The left brain is involved more in weighty and causal space-time, which seems more to wear on the individual from the age 5 to adolescence as a symbolic stage of evolution. Here the neurotransmitters, being in a static fixed earth sign like the previous Scorpio static one of water, would tend to be understimulated.

As to the best method of treatment without drug side effects: being on the left-brained individual side of the zodiac and hence more individual-minded, this would be learning to be more logically empirical and seting long-range goals. Keeping active in working and exercising would be therapeutic. I think the therapy most suited to this stage of development might be Individual Behavioral Therapy. This relates to the individual left side of the zodiacal mandala where rational individual working goals are set. One must learn to overcome the earthy heaviness of memory in sensation. One might liken this to a country initiating public works projects to ameliorate an economic depression.

This phase might be known as the simple learning stage, where objects are organized in thinking. The blood type here would be type B, the third type to evolve. This stage relates most to the static in memory in language development where a more causal sense of time and space enters into the left-brained side of the body.

Here the watchword would be control, as in science. The image is the ponderous, absorbing Earth planetary object in the static Taurus earth symbol. It would connect in a continuum from sensation in language in Taurus to logic in equations in Aquarius. Symbolic logic connects the two fixed signs.

Next would come consciousness as symbolized by the front of the head in PET scans. Airy Aquarius represents further evolution as in the more intelligent animals. This involves the simpler primates as man's closer relative such as the tree shrews and the lemurs before the monkey, ape, or even mankind's evolution. The latter come in the next "Aquarius-2" stage. We now enter fully into the left-brained side of the zodiacal mandala. The sense of causal space and time are most developed in the period after adolesence, or about 13 years of age. The abstract organization of ideas of more advanced learning is now developed in the higher Beta brain waves, from about 14 to 26 c.p.s. One most realizes one's individuality, and relates most to the first Aquarius fixed air sign. This is evinced in the mental faculties, as in deductive logic in philosophy in Greece and Germany and the red American Indian race. This does not include the mixed-blood Indians or mestizos, which are only subdivisions of this phenomenon.

This is the front of the head as registered by PET scan imagery. Its major psychic disorder would be airy, circulatory, irritating, anxious behavior assailing the individual where left-brained causal space and time have been most accommodated after the start of adolecense from high school to college and onwards. Here the neurotransmitters, being in dynamic Aquarius air as in dynamic Leo fire, would tend to be more overstimulated.

The best treatment here without drug side effects, being in the furthest left side of the brain and zodiacal mandala and hence most individual-minded, would be to learn to be more rational and logical in dealing with fears and anxieties by subjecting them to logical analysis. This might be likened some to countries subjecting anxieties and conflicts with other countries to logical discussion or even to binding rational arbitration. The therapy most fitted to this stage would be Cognitive Therapy, where rationality is used to overcome the anxiety of consciousness as expressed in theorizing in equations in mathematics. This area is most inside of causal space and time and hence most vulnerable sometimes to anxious change.

Here the watchword would be changeability as expressed by rational philosophy. The image is the radiating, twinkling starry objects representing the dynamic Aquarius-1 air symbol. It would connect in a continuum from Aquarius-1 in equations and logic to Aquarius-2 in Gestalt Trancendence by the symmetrical mandala in the middle between the two fixed signs.

Next, as in my theory of the five stages in my article "The History of Ideas", the number five would be a most important universal number, as in the decimal system which consists of the number 10 and its subdivision in 5's. This would appear in the fifth and final position above the top of the head in the chakra system as expressed by the aura or spiritual halo in this last stage of development. Thus I would offer this airy Aquarius-2 stage, perhaps relating it to a watery Scorpio-2 also, in appearing more as the actual diffuse ether element in mankind at its highest animal stage of development in the monkey and ape and finally on to even mankind itself. We combine both the left and right brain in the ether element, where a sense of rational causal space and time in a straight line is fully developed. However, we are also integrated more into the right brained aspect, outside causual space and time, in a circle to finally form an outward spiral leading to infinity and even infinity squared, etc. Here the imagery and intuition in channelilng are more incorporated, as in Einstein's great work in physics. He used empirical and mathematical logic, but to be so accurate he must have intuitively channeled this from God also.

This would correspond to the post-midlife period as symbolic of the post-40- year-old midlife crisis stage of life where one assimilates all the previous stages of life in a synthetic outward spiral gestalt in preparation for the post-life transition to death. This would be in the highest brain wave Gamma area of 27 cps upwards. Here one realizes that although one is an individual he is also part of a larger world and universe. This most relates to the post 2000 AD period of holistic philosophy in Aquarius-2, world trade and government.

I would relate this most to the Aquarius-2 fixed sign of ether, hence to synthesis and perhaps to Germany in northern Europe and the Asian race in general outside Europe. My earlier hypothesis may have been wrong -- in the early 1990's I had noticed a gradual movement northwards in Europe through time from the Greeks at first in the south, on ultimately to the Scandinavian countries in the far north. Since that time I have come to see that each new period is related to a fixed sign, and each would follow in consecutive order. Hence the Scandinavians would have been the most influential European countries in the 21st century and under the Capricorn sign. Later on I wrote, I think mistakenly too, that as Aquarius-2 would be the central synthesis of all four previous fixed signs, with Austria and Switzerland in the central part of Europe like the fifth essence -- the central part of the zodiacal mandala, which would be Germanic. In that earlier theory, these would be the most important countries for the 21st century in Europe.

But now I am coming to think that as England, France, and Russia all had turns at being the most influential countries in Europe following Greece after these three countries first went through major revolutions, Germany as one of these four major countries in Europe would also have a turn in the new Aquarian period. Aquarius seems to relate to the German people so much, as well as to the Greeks, and to philosophy as a field of knowledge. The Greeks' Aquarius-1 sign is perhaps on the Pisces side of Aquarius, as the more vigorous, southern, younger, earlier ones. This would be blood type A. It would be followed by the more frail,northern, older final ones on the Capricorn side of Aquarius. This would be the AB blood type, the last one to evolve. The more complex Aquarius-2 synthesis would comprise not just type A blood but also type B.

It should be noted also that although Greece is a smaller country than England, France, Russia, or Germany it has a completely separate main language like these four main areas do. It differs from them sufficiently to qualify as a separate entity. I think that as North America in the 20th century is outside Europe and more influential than Russia inside it, Asia will also be more influential than Germany in this new century. Now we should see a more holistic view point where with world trade and world government we can help level the wealth in the world and help prevent nuclear war. Maybe with this new infrastructure we could have a federated UN body too with all the world's countries having representatives elected at large, and the continents for these countries electing senators at large to a world body.

Aquarius-2 would be symbolic of an ever outward evolving fifth-dimensional spiral reaching like a flow of energy from the hot negative big bang in matter on to the cold positive seventh plane of heaven. Energy enters from the ubiquitous vacuum, returning finally to this vacuum again where God resides in the fifth dimension, and one overcomes entropy in the second law of thermodynamics by a continuous positive to negative flow from hot to cold.

As this Aquarius-2 sign is directly above the top of the head at the highest stage of evolution, in the aura or halo, its major psychic disorder would be an overly abstract, airy, and perhaps watery diffuse behavior in the ether element. This may be seen in homosexuality, as well as overstimulation by such electronic devices as violent video games and sensationalistic television where crimes of violence and sexual expliciteness abound. Here one loses one's human touch and enters a world of abstractions where one might even come to believe a computer device could become human, although of course it would need a soul to be human.

Here is where the relationship of Aquarius to electricity and electronics and to unisex comes to the fore in a negative manner. I think the reason homosexuality is now so much accepted is that is serves as a Darwian evolutionary check on overpopulation in that ordinarily homosexuals don't reproduce. I think that although this has to be tolerated one shouldn't encourage it. I would guess that only about a quarter of the actual homosexuals in the US are born that way but the rest choose it because it is promoted as an alternative way of life. I think instead people should be encouraged to have heterosexual marriages but also to use birth control and not have more than one or two children, as people are now doing in China.

Although I think homosexuality itself is a negative thing, I do believe that feminism in itself is a good thing. Women aren't raising as many children nowdays but are working instead. When they do have positions of leadership they bring their feminine sense of peace and interconnectedness to this troubled world.

While the US and Russia are still somewhat predominant in this previous Scorpio fixed sign period, the antisocial and drug and alcohol addiction phase still most predominates. More people are in jail in the US and Russia per capita than in any other industrialized countries in the world despite their overvigilance with such suspicious and secretive Scorpio societies such as the CIA and the KGB.

Some people will object to my categorization of the US as a Scorpio fixed sign country. A lot of people think it falls under a Cancer cardinal sign. But there is a lot of disagreement on what the actual date is in casting a chart for a country. According to my system I state the signs as to the characteristics displayed in diverse situations. They often also follow in a basic pattern of consecutive order in space/time in the evolution of history.

Hence in geography: Taurus, England, West; on in time to Leo, France, South; on to Scorpio, Russia, East; on finally to Aquarius, Germany, North. Hence too in time order in decades first in the fixed signs: Taurus, 1950's, creature comforts; on in time to Aquarius, 1960's, pioneering; on to Scorpio, 1970's, difficult times; on to Leo, 1980's, good times. Then they proceed in order through the cardinal signs: Aries, 1990-2000, pioneering; on in time to Cancer, 2000-2010, creature comforts; on to Libra, 2010-2020, good times; on to Capricorn, 2020-2030, difficult times. If the U.S. were an active Cancer sign it should be a lot more like the American Southeast. This is a unique, more homogenous American area where class consciousness and chivalry most prevail. It is similar to Europe in the Middle Ages under the passive Cancer sign, and unlike the more pragmatic and heterogenous general active Scorpio US. Although Cancer is a water sign like Scorpio -- hence both would be very religious -- Cancer would represent the more fundamentalistic Southern Baptist like their close cousins the Moslem Cancers. Conversely. Scorpio represents all major religions such as Lutherans, Methodists, Catholics, and Russian Orthodox but also even Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism. Hence the Southern Baptist would be less tolerant, heterogenous, and pragmatic. They would be less aggressive, ambitious and intelligent. However, they would also have better moral standards than most of the US, not consuming drugs much, obeying the law more, and being more peaceful and hospitable.

The US as a water sign in general would have higher church attendence than most other countries do, though Americans as a whole seem to have turned away from God lately. The growing problem of drugs and antisocial behavior in the U.S. in the last declining stage of the Scorpio era indicates an urgent need to return to God. to recover our integrity.

In Aquarius-2 the neurotransmitters would tend to be both overstimulated and understimulated at times, being in the airy and perhaps watery diffuse dualistic element of ether, represented by the Taoist symbol of yin/yang. The method of treatment without negative drug side effects here would be Holistic Integrative Therapy. One needs to realize the need to be integrative but also maintain one's integrity. The new age adage "think globally and act locally" reflects this regarding countries. Here one would combine the left-brained linear consciousness and memory of objective logic with the circular, right-brained imagery and intuition of the subjective human aspect to be a more complete individual. This might be known as the final transcendent learning stage symbolically occurring after mid-life or about 40 years of age. As I stated, it would be the more complex, holistic AB blood type.

Here the watchword would be trancendence in ether as expressed by our objective radiating and absorbing universe and even more extensively by the final radiating and absorbing ether vacuum in the fifth and final dimension for the dynamic and static Aquarius-2 ether symbol.

I believe that maybe I have achieved an integration of Psychology with Parapsychology or its major expression in Religion, by moral psychology. A similar fusion was achieved in the 1920s in combining Astronomy with Physics in Astrophysics, integrating the four forces of energy in an outward expanding spiral of evolution as expressed in the very large and the very small together. Instead of combining the very large and the very small, I combine the ease of peace of mind in Psychology with the moral firmness of Religion, integrating the four forces of basic needs in an outward expanding spiral in evolution to form a harmonious bioplasmic flow of chi for good hormonal metabolic energy distribution.

I would stress the need to devote oneself to the four holistic virtues of worship, family, work, and education somewhat like the four virtues as expressed by the 4-H Agricultural Club (Head, Heart, Hands, and Health); the three virtues of Hinduism; Bhakti Yoga of love, devotion and faith; Karma Yoga of good works; or Jnana Yoga of understanding. Here a balance is acheived between the more circular or subjective right-brain virtues of worshipping God and devoting oneself to one's family and the more linear, objective, left-brain virtues of continually working and educating oneself. Here one would try to develop all one's talents by right living to improve one's karma and rewards in the afterlife.

As well as projecting that Germany and Asia will be the major first-world countries and continents of influence for the near future I might also project the second-world countries, regarding their contributions to the four virtues. Thus the Arabs might stand for religion in Scorpio; the Latin Americans for family relationships in Leo, in the right-brained half of the zodiac; the Asians would appear again for work in Taurus; and the Israelis for education in Aquarius in the left-brained half of the zodiac.

Religion should not be viewed as competing with family relationships, but rather they complement each other as also does work with education. Thus to achieve psychological and physical chemical metabolic equilibrium one should attempt to balance all four of these virtues in one's life.

Though Aquarius is in the group aspect of the signs relating to senility and old age following Capricorn and leading on to Pisces representing death -- which would comprise the later older Aquarius-2 aspect of Germany and Asia -- it also has the earlier, younger, Aquarius-1 aspect of the Greeks in the individual. It is the sperm following the father in Capricorn, representing the sexual climax, leading on to Pisces as the foetus finally being born in Aries.

Thus instead of life starting exclusively in Aries in the spring creation of life, it would also start at the beginning of the year, in January. Hence what the water bearer carries in Aquarius-1 would be the sperm, not water -- as in a current of air energy seeking to penetrate the egg in fertilization in the womb.

A person is also predominant in influence about three months before one's birthdate expressed as a kind of passive abstract aspect. The holidays tend to reflect this pattern. Christmas is in Capricorn the father sign, but the child motif of Aries comes most to the fore -- the baby Jesus being born and Santa Claus giving presents to little children. In Spring the active, tangible aspect of Aries comes to the fore when the earth comes to life. Another of the numerous examples of this holiday concordance is St. Patrick's day in Pisces -- a day in March for the Irish, though they are under the Gemini sign influence by nature. Their active sign comes three months later in June and Gemini.

This sequence -- the sexual climax of the Capricorn father creating the Aquarius sperm then on to the foetus in Pisces and the baby in Aries -- might also have a in metaphor it the Big Bang as expressed in reverse order. This is a simple matter attractor in an ever inward spiraling hot matter contraction. In mathematics this may be represented by zero, the square root of zero, on to the cube root of zero, etc. leading in an endless inward progression. This is the black hole of hot matter at the Capricorn vacuum at the center, representing the origin of reality as expressed by science. There is also the metaphor in forward order -- the seventh plane of heaven order as a complex energy attractor in an ever outward-spiraling energy expansion. In mathematics it may be expressed by infinity, infinity squared on to infinity cubed, etc. The endless outward progression in a kind of white hole of cold energy centered upon the Capricorn vacuum repressents the end of realilty as expressed by Religion.

Thus God the Father would reside in the vacuum from whence all comes originally and to whence all goes eventually. God would be both zero and infinity, but infinity in some ways would be more than zero in a linear evolving circular spiral. Both numbers would be incomprehensible to the human mind. God might have allowed man to split off from him at first to experience matter but to eventually overcome it with spiritual energy. God might thereby gain knowledge of tangible reality. The more man becomes perfect like God the closer he can draw near to God again, eventually merging with him in the vacuum at the seventh plane of heaven.

Perhaps rather than thinking about travelling to a higher level as expressed by entering the womb as a foetus progressing on eventually to the father in the sperm as expressed in the more abstract Aquarian idea of UFOs and the more tangible one of space travel through worm holes etc, and in tangible sexual relations too where one merges completely with one's partner, perhaps one should concentrate one's efforts on striving to reach forward in spiritual trancendence instead, by meditative practices in Scorpio on to Sagittarius on finally to Capricorn as expresssed voluntarily by a flash of spiritual enlightenment or involuntarily by the near death experience when the chemicals in one's body reach their highest harmonious metabolic function produced by the auric and chakra influences on matter.

This dichotomy might be likened to the particle/wave duality, or to a quantitative matter particle/qualitative psi wave duality. In the deep problem of paradox the more concrete left side of the zodiacal mandala is mediated by the twilight mirror membrane to connect to the more abstract right side of the zodiacal mandala. Thus the concrete is combined with the abstract to form a paradox, the two sides being incompatible in some ways.

To reach either one of these two sides it should be noted an input of energy would be required to be injected. Radiative enegy would be injected to the left side in a particle accelerator to form ever heavier mass as expressed to a certain extent by the Higgs theory on quantitative matter creation in Physics. Bioplasmic energy would be injected to the right side in a chakra-aura system reaching ever upwards above the head in the chakra and outwards in the aura perpendicular to it to form ever lighter spirituality as is expressed tangibly by an electrical current flow through a wire and the magnetic field created by it and perpendicular to it in resonance. This was expressed to a certain extent by David Bohm's theory on qualitative energy creation in physics by the pilot wave. It should be noted that as you proceed in either direction ever more resistance is encountered. The flow would be from negative hot tangible matter to positive cold spiritual energy. It would be more in a forward fifth dimensional direction rather than in a fourth dimensional circular direction of a sine wave, thus truly evolving in overcoming entropy.
