EXPAND your MIND
-Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.
-The more you use your brain, the more brain you will have to use.
-I am willing to put myself through anything: temporary pain or discomfort means nothing to me as long as I can see that the experience will take me to a new level. I am interested in the unknown, and the only path to the unknown is through breaking barriers, an often-painful process.
-He who learns but does not think is lost. He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger.
I'm trying to figure out what to put on this page. I'm gonna put on some good books and some websites I guess for now. After I get some more ideas I'll add them to the page.
Books you should read
The Bible: Great book to read, learn to live a moral and fulfilling life. Even if your not religion-oriented or don't believe in God I recommend reading through it. I'd start in the New Testament, I've heard it's easier to start there and then go back to the Old Testament. If you don't want to read the whole thing, I'd recommend in no particular order: Matthew, Ecclesiastes, Proverbs, Revelation, and Genesis.
Atlas Shrugged: Another real good book, it's a long one though, 1000+ pages. It's a good read though, your also going to need to know meanings of lot's of words or become friends with your dictionary. Don't let this discourage you though, it's another great book to change your perception of things.
Fight Club: Free yourself! Become a free-thinking living person! Learn how to seperate yourself from how society is today and become a better person. A note: Those who are quite conservative, easily offended, or want to stay an unthinking sheep of society shouldn't read this. The Stand: A story of survival and a fight between good and evil. This is my favorite Stephen King book, shows you how easily a sickness can spread and destroy the country, and make those who survive stronger, or in some cases, crazy.
I can't really think of any other real good books off-hand. As I remember them or read them I will add them to this page.
