A Golden Wedding - The Facts!

The Beginning - Danette & Stuart were introduced by friends in the infamous JRs in Bishop Stortford.

Where - The couple were married at the Chapel Royal of St Peter ad Vincula - HM Tower of London.

The Concept! -  All things Golden, to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee, the summer wedding and Stuart's surname - Golding!

Arrival - In true fairytale fashion, Danette arrived in a horse & carriage, escorted by four Yeoman Warders - what a privilege!

What the Bride Wore - Danette wore a stunning ivory beadwork corset by Caroline Castigliano, a full skirt and catherdral train, long, ivory fingerless gloves and a gold pearl tiara and shower bouquet.

 

Bridesmaids - Both bridesmaids wore long gold satin summer dresses with matching shawls and the pageboys wore gold waistcoats.

Flowers - The beautiful arrangements were themed in gold, white and cream.

What the Groom Wore - Stuart looked dashing in an Edward jacket and exquisite gold waistcoat and cravat.  He had four ushers and his best man, his brother wore a matching gold waistcoat and cravat.

 

 

Reception - A champagne reception followed by dinner and music at the Banqueting Suite, HM Tower of London.  Most spectacular among the decorations was a show stopping ice sculpture of a vase and twelve red roses.

Honeymoon -  The happy couple left the reception in a white convertible Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II.  They spent an evening at the Richmond Gate Hotel and then flew to Nairobi to spend a two week adventure in East Africa.  A one week safari in Kenya followed by a weeks luxury beach resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
