| Luna crosses her fingers as Ryo slowly aims. He pulls back his arm, throws the ball and knocks down all the bottles.
�WE HAVE A WINNER!� Ryo points to the tiger Luna had her eye on and the Vendor gives it to him. Ryo takes it from the vendor, hands it to Luna and says, �Here, a present from me to you.� Luna jumps with excitement for her new stuffed animal that Ryo got her. Luna says, �Thanks Ryo!� and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Ryo smiles and scratches the back of his head. �Let�s looks for something else to do.� Says Ryo and they both walk further into the festival grounds. Just then Ryo gets slapped on his back and falls to the ground. Luna gasps as Ryo turns to look at a silhouette of a man shrouded by the blinding lights. �Hey, Ryo!� says the figure. Ryo moves out of the light�s direction to find that the figure was Taru. �Taru, hey, how�ve you been doing?� replies Ryo. �Ahh, just fine. Had a hard time with that exam though, but I made it.� �What did you get on the exam anyway Taru?� asks Luna. Taru smiles and says, �I got a D!� �And why are you so happy about that? That�s a pretty low grade.� Ryo says. Taru shrugs and says �Hey, at least I passed! It�s better than an F! What did you two get anyway?� Taru asks. Both Ryo and Luna replied, �I got a B� Taru scoffs and says, �Show-offs.� �So, how have the two love birds been today?� Taru asks with a grin. Ryo blushes as Luna giggles and replies, �Just fine thanks.� �Ryo�still shy I see.� �Shut up!� replies Ryo as his face turns beet red. �Alright, I guess I�ll leave you two to each other now, later.� Taru says as he begins to leave. �Bye Taru!� says Luna as she waves goodbye. Taru then suddenly stops and walks toward Ryo. He whispers in Ryo�s ear, �Hey, Ryo, there�s a bench near that tree over there.� Taru points to a small tree off in the distance. �You can watch the fireworks with Luna from there. Don�t worry I�ll make sure it�s empty.� Taru continues walking away as Ryo stands there with a blank expression on his face with Luna at his side, wondering what they were just talking about. |
