Ryo reaches from the shadows to turn off his alarm clock. He grabs the clock, looks at the time and notices it�s Thursday, 7:00AM. He sighs and says, �Another day of school...� He puts on some clothes while gathering his stuff and heads off for school. �Hey, Ryo!� Ryo turns his head and sees the face of his old friend, Taru. �Hey, wait up Ryo!� �Why should I?� Taru smirks and says, �Aww come on! Are you still pissed about that girl I hooked you up with?� �She wasn�t my type and you know it� �Man, you are so picky when it comes to women!� �Can I help it if they�re not my type?� �You could at least try to like them... now�.who next to set you up with�� As Taru pondered Ryo sighed and continued walking. Then, Taru thought of a particular person in mind. �Hey, I heard we have a new student in school today.� Taru nudged Ryo in hopes he�d get his idea and in response, Ryo stopped walking and glared at Taru. �Will you stop trying to hook me up!?� �Hey I�m only trying to help a friend.� Ryo�s voice calmed down a little, �Well I don�t need help, especially from you.� �Ok ok, I understand when I�m not wanted.� �It took you long enough.� �Touchy today aren�t we?� Before long they reached the school but it seemed they wouldn�t be on time. �Dammit, were going to be late.� said Ryo. Taru smiled at Ryo and said, �You may be late, but my class is at the front of the school while yours is at the back.� Ryo grabbed Taru�s shirt and yelled, �Taru you idiot! You knew I was going to be late didn�t you!?� Taru just stood there laughing at Ryo while Ryo began to run to class. �Shit! If im late this time, I�ll get suspended for sure!� Ryo had just entered his class when the bell rang. �Good job Ryo, fortunately you made it,� said Ms. Reki, Ryo�s teacher. Just then a girl rushed in the class hitting Ryo which caused them both to fall to the ground. The class laughed at their two fallen classmates and their laughter died down slowly. �Unfortunately, you are late�and on your first day too.� Ms. Reki said to the girl. The girl�s head rested on Ryo�s chest and she laid there for quite while, and then said, �Mmm, this is warm�and it feels nice�.� Ryo cleared his throat and the girl, realizing what she did, quickly got of Ryo and said to him, �I�m sorry, I�m so sorry!� �Oh, it�s my fault for standing near the doorway, I should hav�� Just then, Ryo looked at the girl and saw her sitting there, looking back at him with her own eyes paying more attention to Ryo�s health instead of her own. Ryo thought of how a kind person she seemed to be and began to be interested in this girl, then, without any thought, he said, �Wow�..� �Like what you see? Ryo?� Ms. Reki said. The class laughed at them once again and the girl blushed at Ryo�s comment. Ms. Reki then said, �Now class, this is our new student you�ve probably heard about, her name is Luna, Luna Usami. If you will, please seat yourselves.� Luna and Ryo began to move for the only available seat in the back. Ryo smiled and said, �You can take it.� |
