XVI - The Tower - This design shows only one window on the Tower. In this window is the candle of Temperance, while below is the chamber that holds The Fool. The Hexagram on the crown of the Tower represents the interlacing of fire and water (usually shown as the two falling figures from the tower). The color of the tower is flesh to emphasize its phallic symbolism, the crown resembles the head of the phallos, and the lighting bolt and fire is the explosive orgasm. The pink background is the womb that embraces the phallos. All these colors represent Mars, the planet associated to this key.
