THE GALLERY-
VI- The Lovers Two lovers staring directly into each others eyes are joined together by the flow of yellow hair, symbolizing the conscious blending of two souls as one during lovemaking. The flower that blooms above them form a triangle to the two lovers, and represents the opening of the womb door to allow another soul to descend during sexual intercourse. The gold letters LOVE and the yellow hair are symbolic of Tiphereth, the 6th sephirah on the Tree of Life. The black background is symbolic of Binah, the 3rd sephirah on the Tree of Life. The 17th path Zain, which rules both Gemini and The Lovers key, connects the gold sephirah of Tiphereth with the black sephirah of Binah. This card represents the Tantrik Sexual Mysteries of India and Tibet.
