| IV- The Emperor- The cross represents the four elements and the body. The eight flowers that are each of eight petals represent both Spirit and the name Jesus, for in Greek Jesus is 888. Jesus in the center of the cross is also Spirit, crucified upon the four elements which when combined form the physical body. Violet is the color of royalty and associated with the Emperor as the planet Aries who rules the world. This card represents the Western Christian Mysteries. | ||||||||||
