The pergamum incantation bowl
I fear this is a bad transcription rather than a code. However, this extra inner 8 is the planetary vowels describing imperfectly the 7 planets and the demiurge, which is the zodiac that is the 8th cycle. The symbol for Saturn is clear, and the symbol for the 8 rung being the zodiac is 8 pointed star. The humanlike character (arms legs and head) is Mercury. The others must be arrived by conjecture. The 7 vowels in the Greek have a planetary order and an order based on the ladder of Orpheus (see page 12 of the 7th key). It is the Orphic code where Alpha is Saturn and Omega is the moon that is being used here. By the vowels here are the planetary rulers and the equivalents to the planets for these rulers. Again, this is somehow corrupt, but we can come to a good guess here: SATURN-AEHIOYW-ALL 7 VOWELS JUPITER-IHOE-SUN MARS VENUS JUPITERZODIAC-HWEOI-MARS MOON JUPITER VENUS SUNMOON-WIOAH-MOON SUN VENUS SATURN MARSSUN- IEAW- SUN JUPITER SATURN MOONMERCURY- YHEW- MERCURY MARS JUPITER MOONVENUS-EIOAW- JUPITER SUN VENUS SATURN MOONMARS-HOYI-MARS VENUS MERCURY SUN Hope this gave you a little insight. Know that it measures the cosmos as 4 eight fold interlocking wheels, something akin to The Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot.
