20.07.05 - Wanting now: Paris Vertical by Horst Hamann Just finished work experience at SONY BMG Music Entertainment. Fucking fantastic it was. Walked away with some real neat stuff. Anyhow...listened to some good stuff lately. What's more awesome - got an old polaroid...which should be put into use this summer (when i've figured out how the hell to use it). A hot Polaroid Colorpack II. Leaving for Japan in a few days and so plan to take some photos there. For the record, I HAVE taken photos since last summer, just haven't gotten them scanned. Also, no guestbook anymore as of now. Bravenet decided not to have my account anymore. Fuckers. It's to unnecessary to put another one anyways. 28.08.04 Things have been going real slowly photo wise and it's been over a month since the last update. I got my vacation photos back recently (Paris and London) and the lovely Adrian helped me scan them all using his lovely scanner. HUGE thanks to the man who spent 7 hours scanning, resizing and cropping my photos...the scans are amazing! Anyhow, you can see my new photos from my 1st portfolio: I am a Tourist/Photographer or just click from the Photo Archive. Either way...leave a comment and buy me an ice cream! [Would you believe Duran Duran was here?!?! And I got my results!] 11.07.04 All the photos have finally been rescanned thanks to Adrian and his wonderful hi-tech scanner. You can really see the improvement in the quality. Loads of thanks again to Adrian! 09.07.04 Still trying to get over the fact that Greece beat Portugal in the Euro finals. Poor poor Portugal. With the Euro now over, we now have the Copa America. More fun this summer. I should really be in Peru now taking snaps of the streets and stadiums. Today marks a special day. I got my first EVER Rolling Stones vinyl record. For $80 bucks, I landed myself "Black and Blue" with the track "Fool to Cry". I also bought myself Bowie's "Aladdin Sane" Vinyl record. Another one for the collection! 01.07.04 Finally got my two rolls of black and white film back. Cost $130 altogether but it was worth it. Black and white film really does do a good job. Usually, for my Holga 120SF, whenever I get the film processed, only 7 or so come out (out of 16 exposures) when I use colour film. I got 15 back today with the black and white. Also, my first attempt on the 6x6 format using black and white was so much better then the colour film. Surprising really because I use a slow film (100) when I use black and white. Anywho, more photos to come soon...in the mean time, I need money to develop the film...why must all things I like cost money? -PLUS > GO PORTUGAL!!!
