My Daughter got her 1st car,
it is kind of keen.
Though it's teal in color,
still to me it's green.
It is a Ford Escort,
though I can't tag along.
She says I cannot drive it,
to she it now belong.
It is small and sassy,
like she in a far off way.
Though she's back at college,
it in my driveway stay.
But she'll be home at Easter,
look out highway then.
She'll rack up mucho mileage,
then back to school again.
It makes her Daddy happy,
her showing self-support.
I hope she likes my poetry,
couldn't write a book report.
