Snowflakes falling gently,
falling gently upon the ground.
Falling from the Heavens,
falling quietly all around.
Snowflakes piling gently,
piling gently upon the ground.
Piling one upon another,
piling quietly all around.Snowflakes depth is growing,
growing gently upon the ground.
Growing deeper hour by hour,
growing deeper all around.
Snowflakes blanket the landscape,
hiding all there below.
Hiding all from eyesight,
now lies as fallen snow.
Snowflakes have stopped falling,stopped heaping upon the pile.
If cold does stay the weather,
snowflakes there lay a while.
