Woke up this morning,
running kind of late.
Grabbed a little breakfast,
from yesterdays dirty plate.
Jumped into the shower,
it was kind of cold.
The heater had gone south,
the reason yet untold.
Put on my least holed panties,
a bra with drooping cup.
Pantyhose with long runners,
wrinkled slacks for cover-up.
My blouse had lost a button,
my shoes in need a brush.
Makeup placed on quickly,
was now in a hellish rush.
Stood out on the corner,
my ride was running late.
To hear the bosses comments,
this lady can hardly wait.
