| ~Lucid Flame~ | ||||||||
| "Epiphony" Written By DeeDee Shrogin The stars hung in the night sky like halos to the trees. The moon, full and incandescent, lights the way for the lonely wanderer. And I, walking this stretch alone, appreciate it's benevolence. As the momentum of my steps take me forward physically, my mind drifts to a place behind me. And unaware, I smile to the nature around me. With warmth smoothing over my being, I close my eyes and allow myself to be consumed by memory and emotion. And I realize I'd forgotten the joys of experience, the gems and their sparkle around me. And like the moon above me, I'm now beaming and radiant, simply because I remember. They've always been there. It was I who had forgotten. |
