Around lucid flame
Burning in perfection
So pure and animal
I desire it, for rapture waits
Tempting me closer
So I touch it
Feeling it's warmth
Swelling inside me
Releasing me from this servility of conscience To the core depth of fire
Entwined in pleasure and pain
Deeper still
Consuming all
Devouring with no regret
Spilling forth our ecstasy
Then burning down into blackness
Hues that once burn bright
Now faded to cinder
Ashes remain
To remind me
Of just one moment
One night
Absent now of it's light.
