THE RETURN OF LUTHER
| The Return Of Luther is the fourth novel in the proposed D Is For Damien series, and takes place around December 1990. To this day it remains unwritten but for perhaps a rough chapter or two, though a basic plot has been drawn up (which may be changed drastically at a future time). Like the majority of the D Is For Damien novels, I have no plans to work on it in the near future.
Basic synopsis: This story occurs shortly after the ending of Sidekicks (see), when it is revealed that Luther Broderick is not dead after all, as was believed. The majority of the plot concerns Damien telling his friends about his childhood with Luther and Lilu as they spend the night at an old house; much about Damien's and Luther's pasts is revealed, up to the point of Lilu's murder. At the same time, Luther himself lurks outside, unknown to the others; and a strange vision appears upon the railroad bridge near where Lilu lost her life. Interesting story tidbits: As said already, we learn a lot about Damien's and Luther's childhoods here, including the circumstances of their meeting, of Luther's fear of water, and of Lilu's death. This story was originally known as D Is For Damien 2: The Return Of Luther. At this point in time, this introduction will be the only item onsite; should I locate the rough part already written, I'll post it.
