POETRY & LYRICS
| Yah...I've written some stuff that rhymes. Ick. Well, I wrote it, so I guess it'll have to go up here too...
This section will include my two sets of poetry, and then the lyrics to the songs I have written for Damien's band, Radioactive...such as they are. I really like a few, like "Who Can You Trust?", "A Paler Shade Of You," and "Hiding In The Shadows" (if only I knew how to write music, they've got great tunes), while I really HATE some others...well, you'll decide for yourself, I guess. Same goes for my "poetry." Ick ick ick! My stuff sucks so bad it won't work even on greeting cards. Truly! They rejected me. ;P |

THE GOLDEN COMPASS Here are fifty-odd poems I wrote, mostly concerning nature and such. Blabbedy-bla. There are meant to be more but I haven't written them yet and probably won't for quite a while, at least, since writing poems is DAMN HARD!! GEMSONGS This was meant to be a series of poems about "groups" of things--different gemstones, seasons, colors, etc. I only got about seven gem poems done though before I pushed it aside!! *weep* Anyway these poems are in tanka format, I think, which is similar to haiku. The reason they don't rhyme or anything. RADIOACTIVE SONGS Here are the twenty songs I have written for Radioactive (Damien's fictional band) so far. There are meant to be some more, which are currently unwritten. Probably for the best! |
