LUCIFER
| This is a work which I originally started, in a drastically different form, way back in 1989; it finally reached completion a few years ago. It has been posted publicly but not formally, and is unpublished. While I believe it has its merits, I am not seeking its publication at this time, as it needs a lot of work. I post it for the same reason I've posted my other works here, for the attention. ^_- And feedback, of course.
Some notes: Aside from the cult name "Scorpio," which I took from an article in a news tabloid, all the characters and incidents in this story are my own fictional creations. "Cheboygan" is a real city, and some of the places described are real; some are real but with major changes made or with major artistic license taken; and still others are entirely fictional. I make no claim for the story's authenticity or realism. It is meant not as a literary work but as a work of writing for others to enjoy, should they choose. Lucifer is the first in a long series of stories (all but three unwritten so far) featuring the character Damien and his experiences with the cult Scorpio. I cannot state enough how dear a creation of mine Damien is, and should I ever find that he or this story have been plagiarized, whoever has done it will be in trouble. That rather unprofessional message being given, I hope you enjoy the story, and decide to comment if you feel like it. |
