FOUR P

Four P is the eighteenth novel in the proposed D Is For Damien series, a sort of "spinoff" of the earlier Minot, and takes place in June 1997. To this day it remains unfinished and mostly unwritten, though a basic plot has been drawn up (which may be changed drastically at a future time).

All characters in this story, to my knowledge, are of my own creation. I have never visited Minot, so while one or two of the locations named are real (the Falcon's Nest, for example, used to be a real place), most are fictitious or are used fictitiously. If by any chance a reader who knows Minot well sees this story, please do not correct me on the details, as this is intended for fictional use only. This is my own personal Minot as I see it.

Aside from this, the story is mainly of my own creation, and may not be used by others without permission.

Basic synopsis: A skeleton is discovered beneath a washed-out road as floods move in near Minot, North Dakota, and Damien and friends come in to investigate. Their efforts are complicated by the arrival of a detective who seems to have something against their investigation--or could it turn out that he's their most helpful ally yet?

THIS STORY IS STILL IN ROUGH FORM, TYPOS AND PLOT HOLES INCLUDED. Please point them out, but don't expect me to be surprised.

Interesting story tidbits: Recurring character Detective Max Kristeva (see A Crack Of Light for his story) first appears, and not quite as a GOOD guy; the same goes for Christine DelBora and Wayne Rhoades; Kincaid returns to the force; Jenner's (Minot) role in things becomes a bit clearer, shades of the Son of Sam; the focus again shifts away from Scorpio; and this is the first book in the series that begins to dramatically shift away from Damien's point of view toward that of the Minot detectives--Four P, even while Damien is still present, can be called the first Minot spinoff. I decided to keep all the spinoffs (at this point, Four P, Blood Secrets, Shadows, and Magic City) within the series here for convenience.
