D IS FOR DAMIEN
| This work was originally started in 1990 and, I believe, finished sometime between the years of 1994-5. It is the sequel to the earlier work Lucifer and the second in what I call the D Is For Damien series. (Odd, I know, to name the series after the SECOND book, but to me it sounds better than Lucifer.)
Please note: While this was considered "finished" at the time it was last revised, it is by no means considered finished now. On looking over it I have realized it needs yet more major revision. Two examples are the character of Shirana, who should be cut from the story entirely, and the "subplot" concerning Amy, Chernobyl, Damon, and the book, which should be either cut or altered to better fit in with the story. (Admittedly, this subplot was "forced" in AFTER the story had been written.) However, I post them here as they already are; editing will have to wait for some future time when it has more importance to me. The same as with the earlier story, all characters are of my own creation and are not meant to bear any resemblance to persons living or dead. Some locations named are real (e. g., B&C), some are modified (e. g., the Michigan State Police post), some are completely fictional (e. g., the Scorpio compound). Also as with Lucifer, this work is not published and I am not currently seeking its publication, yet I own the copyright and will press action in any way I can should I find that the story and/or characters have been used by others without my permission. |
