I started building a Vampire Counts army, mainly because of a theme that popped into my head one day.  I already had a Brettonian army half way built, and like the idea of making an undead version of them, which is what I see the Blood Dragon bloodline as being.  So with that in mind I set out to build an undead version of my other army.  Well, it started out that way, but ended up becoming way bigger with many more troop types than my Brettonians.  But still, I believe that they came out pretty cool in their own right.

The thing about a Vampire Counts army though is you need a lot of zombies and skeletons...I mean a lot...but a least skeletons are easy to paint.  The only thing missing from my army are banners.  I am not very good at freehand drawing (especially with a brush) so I have kind of avoided the banners, but one of these days I'm going to have to just do them anyways.

Someday though I might modify my army by changing the bloodline...I especially like the Lahmians figures...it would change the feel of the army without building a whole new army.
