| The Tau are a relatively new addition to the 40K universe, and at first I had no plans of collecting them. But as their release date drew near, and they showed more pics of them, I thought they might be kind of fun. So, I first bought the codex and read through it, which piqued my interest even more. Eventually I said "what the heck" and started buying them. They have a very different fighting style to them though. Their weapons are very powerful, but their close combat abilities are very weak. They are definitely a stand back and shoot army, but get ripped apart in hand-to-hand. When I first saw the battlesuits, they reminded me of Robotech Battloids, a lot. So that is what I decided to base my army's colors on. And they just evolved from there. |
