Jack stare Aku sternly.

SAMURAI JACK: (yelled) Aku!

AKU: (smirk in his face) Well, well did you sleep well? Because sooner or later you will be sleeping for a long, long time.

Meanwhile in Kasumi’s bedroom, Kasumi slept gently. She reached out from Jack and woke up. Suddenly and Jack was missing.

KASUMI: (with a panic expression) Jack! Jack! Where are you?

Kasumi then heard voices outside.

SAMURAI JACK: (outside) What do you want from me you monster?

AKU: (outside) I came to put an end to your little sticking romance.

KASUMI: (recognized Aku’s voice) That voice, it cannot be!

She rushed to the balcony and saw the confrontation between Jack and Aku.

SAMURAI JACK: (holding his sword against Aku) So you where watching me and Kasumi kissing?

AKU: (with one eyebrow raise in malignant furm) But of course I was watching you, as always, that is my job Samurai.

Aku transform himself into a Japanese Black Dragon. Aku threw yellow & golden yellow fire at Jack. But leap to the side avoiding the flame.

SAMURAI JACK: You are not fest enough Aku, you are getting old.

AKU (AS A DROGON): You think I’m old, well how about if I give you a fist.

Aku striked Jack. Jack fell backwards and dropped his sword. When he tried to retrieve it, Aku quick form a ring of fire around Jack so he couldn’t reach his sword. Aku transform into an Ape (like in Episode I. His 2nd form) And walked towards Jack who was still trapped in the fire. Kasumi was shocked and walking backwards, turning around and ran to her uncle’s bedroom. She reached her uncle’s bad and tried to wake him up.

KASUMI: (in panic) Wake up uncle Moto, wake up, wake up!

MOTO: (screamed) WHAT IS GOING ON?! ARE WE UNDER ATTACK?!

KASUMI: (upset) Get up uncle, Aku is here!

MOTO: Kasumi, you were having a nightmare, go back to sleep. Beside Aku is miles and miles away from here.

There was shattering thump.

MOTO: (statled) What was that?

KASUMI: It must be Aku attacking Jack. Come with me.

Kasumi ran out of the house. Moto was following her, while he was tying his yellow kimono slash. Moto railed his head and saw Aku trying to crush Jack. But Aku keeps missing Jack. Jack kept leaping and avoiding Aku’s punches.

MOTO: (in disbelief) Oh my god! You were right Kasumi, Aku is here! But why Jack doesn’t slice Aku in half?

KASUMI: (sadly) Because Aku trapped him in the circle of fire and the sword had fell out of his reach.

MOTO: (poundering his next action) Well what are we going to do; we cannot allow Aku to destroy The Emperor’s Son.

KASUMI: There is only one thing we can do. (held her hand is a fist ready to fight) We must help Jack.

MOTO: (concerning with Kasumi’s safety) What! Are you mad niece? You are talking about the master of masters, the deliverer of darkness, the shogun of sorrow, the shape-shifting wizard Aku!

KASUMI: I know uncle Moto, but I love Jack. I can’t let Aku kill Jack. You must stop Aku uncle.

MOTO: Me!? Why Me?!

KASUMI: (pleading) Because you are the keeper of the weapons that are in your room.

MOTO: Let me tell something Kasumi. Those weapons belonged to your grandfather, which is my father, who use to work for our beloved Emperor.

KASUMI: It does not matter. You must help Jack (worring terribly about Samurai Jack) Or else he will be grinned into pepper.

MOTO: (with resolution) You know something you are right. We cannot run away from evil anymore. And I’m fed up with miserable land. I’m going to do it.

Moto turn to the door.

MOTO: (to Kasumi) While I get the weapons, you figure away to free your love.

Moto went inside the house to get the weapons. Jack keeps hoping and Aku keeps missing him.

AKU (AS AN APE): (kept trying to crush Jack with his gigantic fists) Hold still you meddling fool!

Suddenly Aku reached out and scratched Jack’s back hard leaving red marks.

SAMURAI JACK: (felt the horrible pain and scream) AAAHH!!!

Seeing Jack hurt made Kasumi cringe in horror and with anger. She went to the side of the house removing a water hose. Aku tried again to crush Jack, missing him by a few inches. Jack felt the agonizing pain in his back.

AKU (AS AN APE): You are wealth less Samurai. Without your ancient sword, you are helpless. Just like your pathetic father. Like they say like father, like son. Accept your fate!

SAMURAI JACK: (in pain as he tries to get on his feet) AAAH, NEVER! If you kill me Aku, I’ll die with honor not like a coward like you. (with determination) You will never destroy my spirit.

AKU (AS AN APE): (as he gets ready to crush Jack with his fist again) Well see about that mortal.

Suddenly he heard a voice near by the fire.

KASUMI: Oh Aku!

It was Kasumi with the garden hose. She aim at Aku’s eyes and turned it on hitting Aku’s eyes.

AKU (AS AN APE): AAAHH!!! MY EYES!

As he covered his eyes with his hands, Kasumi proceeded to stinguish the fire with the water.

KASUMI: Quick, get the sword!

Taking advantage Jack jump and reached for his sword. Aku was really angry. He reaches for his eyes and they return to normal. While Kasumi fled with the garden hose Jack has his sword and was ready for battle. Aku transformed himself into a giant cobra and started striking at Jack, who kelp avoiding his fangs by leaping out his way. Kasumi was standing by the front door when her uncle Moto show up with the weapons.

MOTO: Did I miss something?

KASUMI: Yes, I freed Jack out of the fire by water hosing Aku’s eyes and turn out the circle of fire.

MOTO: (handing Kasumi the bow and the spear) Here hold these. You stay right there Kasumi. (He walked towards Aku) I have a demon to deal with.

KASUMI: (holding the bow and spear) Be careful uncle Moto.

Jack leaped and stroke Aku hard on his side with his mighty sword.

AKU (AS A COBRA): (in agony and pain) AAAHH!

Now he was really furious at Jack. Suddenly Moto show up, holding his sword.

MOTO: (holding his sword) Not so fast Aku! My niece and me had enough of you making our life’s miserable and full of hated! And now… (he took a fighty stand) Prepared to meet your doom.

Jack was astonished to see Moto fighting Aku.

SAMURAI JACK: (astonish) Moto?

Moto took a good leap.

MOTO: HYYYAAHHH!!!

Moto leaps into the air and tries to attack Aku.

AKU (AS A COBRA): (glaring) Great! Just what I need…. More Samurais!

Moto stop to catch his breath.

MOTO: (panting)

He then raised his sword, but it was cracking because it wasn’t strong enough and then it broke into pieces leaving only the handle.

MOTO: (gulp)

Rushing to Kasumi.

MOTO: Quick, give me the bow!

Kasumi handed the bow to him. Moto grabbed the bow and rushed back to fight Aku. Aiming his arrow he strokes Aku’s stomach while Aku was still a giant cobra. Moto continued to strike Aku with his arrow while Jack looked at him with a puzzle expression.

SAMURAI JACK: (puzzle expression) Moto, what are you doing? You’re going to get yourself kill!

MOTO: (he was aiming the arrow at Aku) I’m helping you defeat this monster. I have to avenge my brother and his wife.

With last arrow he stroke Aku in the belly again. Reaching his arrow bag, he came out empty.

MOTO: What?!! No more?!

AKU (AS A COBRA): (angry at Moto) Are you through?!

Aku turns back into his true form with the arrows still stuck to his belly. Aku stretch and the arrows went inside him. Aku opened his mouth out came the arrows at Moto. Moto flipped backward avoiding the arrows. Moto ran to his niece.

MOTO: Quick Kas, the spear!

Kasumi gave the spear to Moto. Moto ran back to Aku. Moto put the spear between his eyes sizing Aku, then aim the spear at Aku and struck him on his chest. With one hand, Aku pulled the spear out of his chest.

AKU: Seen it, done that.

He threw the spear at Moto, but Moto stepped back. Aku eyes were glowing; and he shoots lazers at Moto, who was struck by the lazer.

MOTO: (in pain) Aaahh!!!

Seeing what happened Kasumi screamed.

KASUMI: (screamed) UNCLE MOTO!!!

For a moment Jack was shock at seeing Moto being zapped. Aku stop zapping him. Moto felt on the ground, stune by the lazer he couldn’t move. Kasumi ran to her uncle and hugged him. Kasumi looked up and saw Jack running to Aku and leap to the air about to strike Aku. Aku grabbed him from the back of his kimono in mid air.

AKU: (holding Samurai Jack) Nice try Samurai.

Aku let go of Jack and hit him with his fist before Jack felt on the ground. Jack tried to get up and fainted momentarily. Seeing what just happen Kasumi yelled.

KASUMI: (yelled) JAACCCK!!!

She raised her shoulder and looked mad at Aku. Getting up from the ground, Kasumi ran to get the spear with the spear in her hands.

KASUMI: (screaming in a mad tone) AAAAAKUUUUU!!!!

Glancing over his shoulder, Aku was surprise to see Kasumi standing with the spear in her hand.

AKU: Now what?!

KASUMI: (looking angry at Aku) You have killed my mother and father. You have destroyed my homeland and taking over the world. But nobody, I mean nobody (screamed angrily) Zaps my uncle Moto; and defeated my one true love from the past and now you must face me, you wicked wizard. Prepare to die Aku!

As she raised the spear to strike Aku. Kasumi threw the spear hard at Aku, but Aku grabbed it and broke it in two dropping the pieces on the ground.

AKU: HA, HA, HA, HA! So my dear Kasumi, you think you can defeat me with that triffle spear. Haven’t you realize by now that no one cannot defeat me.

Aku’s eyes tarted glowing again and shoot lazers at Kasumi.

KASUMI: (screaming in pain) AAAHH!!!

Jack woke up and was startle by what he saw.

SAMURAI JACK: (gaps) KASUMI!!!

Jack got up picking his sword from the ground.

SAMURAI JACK: Aku, leave her along! It is me you want not her remember!

AKU: (still zapping) I’ll deal with you later Samurai. Right now I am destroying your little girlfriend from the past. (started to laugh while he’s still zapping at Kasumi)

Jack became even more furious. He walked in front of Aku while he was still zapping Kasumi. Jack leap into the air with his sword and stroke Aku on his stomach. Feeling the pain Aku stop-zapping Kasumi felt on the floor her body in pain. Jack went through Aku’s stomach when he stroke him with his sword. Jack made a big hole in Aku’s stomach. Jack landed on the other side out of Aku stomach came out shock rays.

AKU: (screaming in pain) AAAHH! THE SWORD!

Raising his sword again, Jack turn around and saw Aku shocking rays all over.

AKU: (shocking rays all over him) AAAHH! You may have won the battle Samurai. But the war is not over yet! We’ll meet again Samurai!

Jack replace his sword back into his shaft. In deep concentration placing his hands together made the fire disappear (like in Episode VIII) Slowly Jack opened his eyes; and saw his beloved Kasumi lying on the ground. Quickly Jack ran to Kasumi and sat beside her. Gently Jack tried to revive Kasumi with his hands, but it didn’t work. Jack assumed the meditation pose with his hand and concentrated on reviving Kasumi. Jack stay all day and night, but it didn’t work, when he opened his eyes, Kasumi was shill dead. Softly Jack pick Kasumi toward his chest, tears came out of his eyes.

SAMURAI JACK: Oh no! No! This cannot be! Kasumi I will not let you die! (crying) This is all my fault; I shouldn’t have met you once again. This would never happen if Aku wouldn’t have showing’ up. Oh please Kasumi just open your eyes, I love you. (continue crying)

His tears were glittering and felt gently on Kasumi’s face. Suddenly Kasumi eyes started to move. Jack looked at Kasumi with surprise. Kasumi opened her very slowly Kasumi raised her hand and touching Jack’s cheek.

KASUMI: I-It is all right, do not cry anymore------ Jack.

SAMURAI JACK: (happy and hugged Kasumi) Kasumi!

KASUMI: Whoa, where did that come from?

SAMURAI JACK: (tender love in his eyes) I was afraid I lost you.

KASUMI: You did not lose me you saved me. (with an angry expression) Where is he?

SAMURAI JACK: Who? Oh, you mean Aku. Well I won the battle, but he will be back.

They both looked at Moto, which was lying on the ground. Kasumi went to Moto. Grabbed him and held him in her arm. Her tears fell on his face. She gently put him down. Jack sat next to Kasumi bowing his face with a sat expression. Kasumi hugged Jack and he hugged her back.

KASUMI: (sobbing)

All of the sudden, Moto woke up.

MOTO: (he sat up) What is all this commotion? What is going on here?

Kasumi started to cry with joy and hugged Moto.

KASUMI: (continue sobbing)

MOTO: (surprise) What is this?

KASUMI: (With tears in her eyes) Uncle Moto I am so glad you are alive.

MOTO: (tears came out from his eyes) I am glad too.

Moto hugging back at Kasumi.

KASUMI: Uncle Moto please do not cry, it is over.

MOTO: I am not weeping because of that. I’m just happy that you care so much about me.

They both hugged again and cried again together.

MOTO AND KASUMI: (crying together)

Seeing how happy they were. One tear felt out of Jack’s eye.

The next morning as they were saying goodbye at the front door Jack thanked Moto for his help.

SAMURAI JACK: Where is Kasumi?

MOTO: She is in her room. (looking upstairs) I don’t know what she’s doing up there?

SAMURAI JACK: Well I must be going now. Tell Kasumi that I said goodbye.

Jack started to walk away. Kasumi running out of the house.

KASUMI: (running to Jack) Jack, Jack, wait!

Jack turned around to gaze at her. Kasumi was holding her favorite childhood doll which Jack have rescue when they were children.

KASUMI: (holding her doll) Here Jack, I want you to have this, so you can remember me.

Kasumi presented the doll to Jack.

SAMURAI JACK: Thank you. I’ll treasure it always.

Jack putted the doll inside his kimono.

KASUMI: But why you have to leave now; so soon. Think of all the good things we can have here.

SAMURAI JACK: I know you want me to stay with you and Moto. But I cannot, I must return to my own time and defeat the evil that Aku has unleashed. (softly) I hope you understand I have no other choice.

KASUMI: I do understand. (a soft breeze hit her hair) You are in my heart--- Samurai Jack.

Jack and Kasumi held each other’s hands and looked at each other in a romantic way.

SAMURAI JACK: And you’re always be in mine Kasumi.

Kasumi and Jack hugged and kissed tenderly. Jack started to walk away when Moto arrived and touched Kasumi’s shoulder. She turned around to see her uncle smile sweetly at her. Kasumi gave Moto a reassuring smile to let him know everything was fine. They both watched Jack with a smile on their faces and Jack smiled back at them and continue walking away.

Night came and Jack slept on the forest ground still holding closely Kasumi’s doll. Jack had a dream then came a flash back.

He unshield his sword and with a swift blow broke open the handcuffs and shackles from Kasumi’s hands and feet. Jack shield his sword back in placed. Kasumi ran to him and hugged him. Jack look up bravely.
