It was a beautiful sunshiny day in the forest. The birds were singing and bunnies were hopping. A little immortal girl was walking through the norweigian forest. She was sad; her father had been taken from her. She felt helpless, because there was no warrior to help her. She was about to give up her search. She heard a battle bring thought. The little girl turned around and discovered two figures fighting. She got closer and hid behind a tree. It was Samurai Jack battling a bounty hunter named "Hammerhead Shatoro" (a shark headed creature) Hammerhead Shatoro was blocking Jacks sword blows with his staff. They where inter looked each pushing the other.

HAMMERHEAD SHATORO: Give it up Samurai Jack; you are no match for me.

Using all his strength, Jack kicked the ground: and quickly rose. He was very angry. Hammerhead Shatoro aim his staff and threw it at Jack. Jack step sideways avoiding the staff. Hammerhead Shatoro took out his gun and started firing at Jack. Jack kept running avoiding being hit by the bullets. Hammerhead Shatoro notice that he ran out of bullets.

HAMMERHEAD SHATORO: Uh Oh. I forgot to get more bullets.

Taking advantage that Hammerhead Shatoro was out of bullets, Jack attack. Jack leap with his sword slicing Hammerhead Shatoro in half. The robot exploited into pieces. That was the end of the bounty hunter. Jack put his sword back in his shaft. He was about to go when heard a small little voice coming out from behind a tree.

LITTLE IMMORTAL GIRL: (running to Jack) Sir wait please, please! (she stops running) That was pretty awesome the way you handled the robot.

Jack smiled slightly at the girl sort of a thank you smile.

LITTLE IMMORTAL GIRL: (robbing one of her shoulders and looking around) You know we shouldnt be here. There might be other around. Lets go the other side of the other side of the forest.

She raises her hand so Jack could hold it as they walk. Reluctantly, Jack to her hand he was not sure if he could trust this girl. They started walking to the other side of the forest.

LITTLE IMMORTAL GIRL: (walking with Jack) While we walk, tell me why that robot was after you?

Jack explained to the little girl what happened.

Night was softly and it was becoming dark. After walking long distance they stop and Jack set up camp. Jack quickly made a fire to keep warm. The little girl shared her milk and cookies with Jack. Thats all she had. While Jack ate his portion of milk and cookies, the little girl was drew a Viking ship to show Jack, using Akus crayons.

SAMURAI JACK: (looking at the girl) Thank you for the cookies and milk.

LITTLE IMMORTAL GIRL: (softly as she smile at Jack) No problem Jack.

SAMURAI JACK: So (putting the glass and plate down on the ground) You name is Jen and you have come to seek me.

LITTLE IMMORTAL GIRL: (surprised) How do you know my name Jack?

SAMURAI JACK: (pointing at her sweater) Name is on your sweater.

JEN: (looking down at her sweater and then look up) You are right, thats my nickname, but my real name is Jennifer. But you call me Jen.

SAMURAI JACK: Ok, Ill call you Jen, but tell me why are you seeking me?

By her sad expression Jack could tell that Jen was in trouble. She opened her locket and tears fell from her eyes.

JEN: Its my dad.

She turned to Jack and showed him the locket. There was a picture of her father inside. Jack lowered his head to get a better look.

The picture was of Jen and her father.

SAMURAI JACK: Your father is a warrior?

JEN: Yes; and very wealthy too.

Jen taking her locket back and closed it tightly.

JEN: (softly) My father is an adventurer. My mother was a warrior. She is no longer with us. She died when I was a baby.

SAMURAI JACK: Well, where is your father now? Why he is not with you?

JEN: (sadly) My dad is gone Im all alone.

SAMURAI JACK: Well if he is lost I will be happy to help you find your father.

JEN: (upset by Jacks words) I didnt loose him; he is being taken--- by the Viking Minions.

SAMURAI JACK: Viking Minions?

JEN: Yes, (she crossing her arms) they work for that evil lord of cockroach of darkness, Aku.

SAMURAI JACK: Aku! Truly, since he rules the world now, he must have a lot of Minions all over the Earth. (to Jen) Why did the Minions take your father?

JEN: Its a long story. It all started when my dad and I came to Norway for a vacation. But enough about the trip. Lets get to the point of the matter. On the third day; we stumble upon Akus tyranny. We saw Aku and his Minions shoving the slaves inside a large boat.

Jen turned pick up her drawing pad and show Jack the boat drawing.

JEN: The slaves are in this boat.

Jen held the drawing pad higher so Jack could see it well; then returned it back to the floor.

SAMURAI JACK: Did your father got in Akus way?

JEN: Yes he did.

She got a flashback of that day as a childs drawing.

Jens father fought Aku with his sword.

JENS VOICE OVER: He wanted to free the people. But Aku was way to powerful and dad couldnt defeat him.

Three rings came out of Akus hand and rose above Jens father tighten him up like rope.

JENS VOICE OVER: (sadly) He made a sample of my dad bravery so the other would not fight him.

Aku summoned his Minions and they carried her father to the Viking boat.

JENS VOICE OVER: Aku made my father a slave. I couldnt do anything to stop them. Im just a little kid.

Jen looking straight at Jack as her vision came to an end.

JEN: I went to the village looking for a warrior to help my daddy and the others. But they were frightened and they refuse to come with me and fight Aku. I was about to give up hope. When I saw you and that bounty hunter fighting. I thought to myself that you could be the one, because you fought so well. So would you help me, Jack?

SAMURAI JACK: Yes, I will help you Jen. (pointing to the ground) And now its time for you to go to bed its past your bedtime young lady.

JEN: Ok, but let me put my things away in my bag.

Jen put her things away. Then took out a small blanket from her bag and went to sleep on the floor; using her backpack as a pillow to rest her head.

JEN: (softly as she felt sleep) Good night Jack.

SAMURAI JACK: Good night Jen.

Jack went to sleep. Then he heard Jen talking in her sleep.

JEN: (talking in her sleep) Oh! I cant hardly wait for Jack to save you daddy, so we can finish our vacation and go home.

The word "home" remind Jack where he wanted to be.

SAMURAI JACK: (to himself) I wish I was home too; instead of fighting Aku in the future.

Jack stands up and went for a little walk around camp.

SAMURAI JACK: (to himself) I can still remember back home it was simply, beautiful to be with my family and Aku was not in the picture.

Then he started to sing softly.

SAMURAI JACK: (singing softly)

Somewhere in the past Way long time ago Theres a land that was in peace That is where I should go

Somewhere in the past Pink blossoms bloom Times were much simpler But now I see the world is doom

One day I will be a samurai Bring honor to my family Protect the ones that I love From danger and harm And bring peace to all

Jack sat down right next to Jen while shes sleeping

SAMURAI JACK: (still singing softly)

Somewhere in the past Gray doves fly Bring hope and joy So dont you cry

Jack looked at Jen who was still sleeping. She looked so innocent. He knew he needs to protect her and find her father for her. He hoped her father would be a live.

SAMURAI JACK: (still singing softly)

Ill be there when you feel blue Ill be your friend to the end And Ill return to the past and finish Aku

Jack frowned and went to sleep.

The next day, Jack created a raft and started sailing. Jack was rapidly peddling where they spotted a large Viking ship. Jen pointed at the Viking Minions who were the ones who kidnapped her father.

JEN: Jack, there they are.

Inside the boat, one of the Viking Minions was hitting a drum as another hit the slave with a whip forcing them to row faster. All of the slaves were shackled to a part of the boat so they couldnt escape.

SAMURAI JACK: Jen, hold on tight we are going to board that ship.

Jack placed Jen over his shoulder and proceeded to climb aboard. Jack put Jen down when he made it inside the ship. He unshieft his sword and prepare for battle.

SAMURAI JACK: Holt Viking Minions!

Everybody stop and stared at Jack momentarily

VIKING MINION: (pointing his finger at Jack) Now, who are you?!

SAMURAI JACK: (he held his sword in a battling pose) Your worst nightmare.

JEN: (from behind Jack) Yeah, and hes going to kick your butts!

A voice came out if the rowing area.

VOICE: Jennifer?!

It was her father.

JEN: (waving her hand to her father) Hi dad!

SAMURAI JACK: Go free your father and the others, while I handle the Minions of Aku.

The Viking minions pick their weapons and prepared to attack Jack. Jen rushed to free the slaves by getting the key. One of the Minions approached the Samurai.

VIKING MINION: (pointing his finger at Jack) If I were you, I swim.

SAMURAI JACK: If you were me, you would be good looking.

VIKING MINION: (angry) Thats not nice, get him!

All the Minions attacked Jack. Jack swang his sword striking Minion after Minion. One of the Viking Minions attacked Jack with an ax and another with a spear. Jack ducked each of them. Others continued fighting the Samurai with their swords. Jack sliced through them with his sword.

Jen finally reach the key and free her father from the shackles. They both hugged each other.

JEN: (tear of happiness in her face) Dad Im so glad to see you I was after they would kill you.

JENS FATHER: Jennifer, I knew I would see you again. Over there, go get my sword. So I can help the Samurai. I have a score to settle with those Minions.

Jens father was getting up. Picking up the heavy sword, Jen brought to her father.

JEN: (giving the sword to her father) Here dad, please be careful.

JENS FATHER: I will, go free rest of the slaves.

Jens father gave a cry for battle and prepares to attack the Minions. As Jack fought one of the Minions, Jens father came to his aid striking the Minion from behind. The Minion drops his shield and sword he split.

SAMURAI JACK: You must be Jens father. (continue fighting the Minions)

JENS FATHER: So you have heard of me? Do you mind if I cut in.

SAMURAI JACK: I will be honor. (striking another Minion with his sword)

So the two brave warriors fought side by side.

JEN: (doing a little dance with her hips and arms) Go dad, go Jack, go dad, go Jack!

SLAVE: Is that man in the tuxedo is your father?

JEN: Yep, and a great warrior too.

Meanwhile, Jack and Jens father fought valiantly against the remaining Viking Minions. As the last of the two remaining Minions attack Jack and Jens father, they both leap into the air slicing them with their swords. Jack was breathing fast as he layed his sword back into his sword shaft. Glancing towards Jen and the free men and her father, he was glad to see they were all right. Jen ran to her father, she was relicf that he was safe.

JEN: (hugging her fathers legs) Dad you were awesome. Tell me daddy, what did the Viking Minions wanted to do with you and the other men?

JENS FATHER: They were forcing us to work at Akus jewels mind. They are a source of power for Aku. Now lets get these men to shore.

At sunset, reaching shore all the men were happy that they were going home and see their families. Jen was so excited that they where on land the she ran.

JENS FATHER: (holding Jens left shoulder) Not so fast young lady. Come with me, we have to have a little talk.

JEN: (little bit scare) Yes dad?

JENS FATHER: You know young lady; you had broken the rule about talking to strangers.

JEN: I know father, but I was all alone and desparate for help and Jack helped me.

JENS FATHER: I am glad you found a warrior to help me. Im proud of you Jennifer.

Jen smile sweetly at her father. He picked her up in his arms.

JENS FATHER: I love you my baby.

JEN: And I love you too daddy.

Jack was happy to see father and daughter reunited at last.

Suddenly, Jack has a thought as he stared at Jen and her father hugging.

He started to remember his mothers hugs him when he was a boy.

Tears started rolling down Jacks eyes.

SAMURAI JACK: (sniffing)

Jen heard a sniffle and when she glanced and she discovered Jack in tears.

JEN: Daddy, look at Jack.

JENS FATHER: Whats wrong Jack?

SAMURAI JACK: Nothing, nothing at all.

JENS FATHER: (approaching to Jack) You dont look all right.

Jen ponder why Jack was so sad.

JEN: Oh I know what it is. Daddy, Jack is homesick and misses his family and homeland. Aku brought him here and he belongs in the past, he told me his story when I him.

JENS FATHER: (to Jack) Oh, I am so sorry that Aku did this to you. Its so unfair I can imagines your pain. I wish I could do something for you.

SAMURAI JACK: That is ok sir; we all have to deal with situations in life. But I know that someday I will defeat Aku and I will return back home to my family and homeland.

JENS FATHER: (started to walk with Jack and Jen) You know Jack; my mother can help you with this situation.

SAMURAI JACK: (walking) She can help me? How?

JENS FATHER: Ill explain it to you on they way Jack.

They all left the shore and headed to town.
