It was another beautiful day; the sun was shining bright about the mountain.
On the top of the waterfall, Jack prepares himself to dive into the water. His hair was loose down and he wore his underwear for swimming. Taking a step back Jack ran forward and dived into the water bellow. With big strokes, Jack swang into the surface. Rising about the water Jack lean backward to splash the water from his hair. Jack was having the time of his life.
Jack reached out for his kimono that lay on top of a rock. He quickly put in on and follow by putting on his sandals. He continue by grabbing his sword and placing it inside sash. Suddenly, Jack heard a noise coming from the forest. Jack quickly dash out of Yosemite Falls into a clearing. He heard the noise of a battle going on.
Jack stop and look around to see where the noise was coming from. Jack was astonished by what he saw. Jack saw a Musketeer Cat leaping through the air about to strike Aku�s Beetle Drone with his sword. The Cat Musketeer cut The Drone in haft with his sword. Another one showed up behind him. Raising his sword, the cat hit The Drone in the middle. The cat ran and The Drone exploded. The Musketeer Cat kept slicing The Drones. Jack kept watching what was happening. Suddenly, The cat warrior was outnumber by The Drones. Jack�s eyes narrowed in grim determination. Jack came to The Musketeer�s rescue. Slicing The Drones. Jack�s prompt action surprise the cat. Together side by side, they defeated The Drones.
There was nothing left from The Drones but a pile of pieces. Jack and The Musketeer Cat shield their sword one by one into their sword shafts.
SAMURAI JACK: (looking fiercelessly at the pile) I guess that�s the end of the Drones.
THE MUSKETEER CAT: (in a French accent) For now, they are gone. (as he cleans his suit and cape)
Jack was amazed at the feline said.
SAMURAI JACK: (pointing his finger at the cat) You can talk?
THE MUSKETEER CAT: Oui, quiet well too. What�s the matter mon-ami, never seemed a talking Musketeer Cat before?
SAMURAI JACK: No I have not.
THE MUSKETEER CAT: You have not huh? Well (bowing and removing his hat in thanks) Merci Samurai. You have save my life.
SAMURAI JACK: (bowed down) You are welcome. (rose up) By the way, I am Jack.
THE MUSKETEER CAT: (shock) What did you say?
SAMURAI JACK: My name is Jack--- Samurai Jack.
THE MUSKETEER CAT: (started to laugh and fell down on ground) Oh, this is so rich, ha ha ha ha! Un Samurai, named------ Jacques (continue laughing)
Jack became furious when The Musketeer Cat started to laugh at his name. Jack stood behind The Musketeer then kneels down and tapped the cat on the back. The cat stopped laughing and turn around to face Jack.
SAMURAI JACK: (angry expression on his face) You know that is not funny to laugh at people�s names. That is very rude. How would you feel if I laugh at your name?
The Musketeer was shocked and bends his head down in shame.
THE MUSKETEER CAT: (getting up; and took his hat off) You cannot. (in a sad manner) I never had a name.
SAMURAI JACK: (puzzled by the cat�s statement and got up) Never?!
The cat nodded sadly. Placing his hand on his face, Jack started it to think.
SAMURAI JACK: (in his mind) Perhaps I can help him by giving him a name.
Finally Jack figure out a name and using his sword he tapped the left cat�s shoulder.
SAMURAI JACK: You will be call---- Pierre.
The cat was so happy.
PIERRE: Finally I get to have a name. (took a gentlemen bow) Merci Jacques.
SAMURAI JACK: (he replaced his sword back in his shaft) So tell me Pierre, what are you doing in the middle of the forest without your comrades?
Pierre was astonished when Jack asked about his peers and then became sad.
PIERRE: I�m afraid they are not here. They died in the war.
SAMURAI JACK: What?! How can this be?
PIERRE: (put on his hat) It all started this morning monsieuri Jacques. We were feasting with the king. Then suddenly out of nowhere he appeared. ,Un d�mon who has dark skin, and they all called him----- Aku!
SAMURAI JACK: Aku!
PIERRE: Oui, he was the cause of this. My men try to eliminate him, but he eliminated them instead. He destroyed my kingdom and kidnapped our king. But the monster was not alone he a little help with his mechanical minions.
SAMURAI JACK: The Drones.
PIERRE: I was the only survivor to vanquish Aku with my sword. I wounded him with my mighty, magic sword. Like this.
Pierre demonstrating how he stroke Aku. He returned his sword back into his shaft.
PIERRE: But Aku had a plan in mind, without me knowing, I took one bigger leap to strike him again, but he used his laser on me. But it was different type of laser than the one he used to kill my men. He transported me here; in this forest. Well I was not the only one he sent me here. Aku sent mui a little good-bye present, which is his minions to destroy me.
SAMURAI JACK: It looks like we�re even.
PIERRE: "Even?" What do you mean "We�re Even?"
SAMURAI JACK: I�m in the same boat. Aku has transported me here; into his future, full of misery. Now I�m trying to find a time portal or something to send me back in time to destroy Aku and undo the years of tyranny that he has laid upon these lands.
PIERRE: Are you also a powerful warrior, like mui?
SAMURAI JACK: Yes I am.
PIERRE: Ohh-la-la!
Meanwhile, far, far away someone was watching Jack and Pierre. It was Aku who was watching them through his magic mirror.
AKU: Oh no, no, no! I cannot stand this. The samurai has met a musketeer feline. And not just any musketeer, but a powerful warrior as well. Oh now I am in hot water. I will simply not allow them to oppose me. Let me think what I should do with them.
Ponder Aku his hand one his mouth. Aku started to act like Shakespeare.
AKU: (acting like Shakespeare) "To kill one warrior, or to kill two warriors? That is the question." But in Aku�s way; I will kill------- Two warriors!
Meanwhile, back at the forest, a hole grew under Jack and Pierre�s feet; and they fell through it.
SAMURAI JACK AND PIERRE: WHOA!!!
Still falling down the hole they both crash on the ground. Slowly they both rose from the ground they look up and saw the hole close by itself. Little stunned by being slowed by the earth both stare at each other in disbelief. Jack and Pierre quickly got up to suruay the area until they came across three switches on the wall. Jack carefully looked at them wondering if one of them could lead to them out. Jack grabbed the switch with the letter "F" at bottom and switched on. That is when both felt the ground shaking and moving. Jack and Pierre turned around and saw a giant spinning boulder coming their way.
Quickly Jack switch the switch with the letter "C" and the wall turned them to a different room; the boulder crashed though the wall. Jack and Pierre slowly opened their eyes and saw two walls coming together. Suddenly Jack spotted a rope that was hanging from the ceiling realizing that this could be a way out. Jack ran to rope and pulled it. Spikes came out of the walls when he did that.
PIERRE: Oh ma qualit�! We are doom!
Jack clanked around for a way out, until he found a loose stone at the bottom of the wall. Jack tapped Pierre�s shoulder and pointed with one finger at the stone.
SAMURAI JACK: This stone is loose. (he and Pierre walk to the loose stone) Help me pushed it Pierre.
Jack and Pierre pushed the stone while the spiked walls get closing in. Pushing the stone out they manage to exit to safety just before the walls closed out. Seeing a plate, Pierre picks it up, too late he realize it was attached to a string. The trap triggered a buffalo stampead coming from a hallway. Quickly Jack and Pierre ran away from the stampead and reach a wall and started to climb it. On top of the wall there was a door. They climb until they reached the door and it disappeared. As they looked around they noticed several doors. Jack and Pierre started checking out the doors. The doors had button opening system and they need to punch out the right button in order for the doors to open. Jack manage to open the first door. That�s when he saw a train coming his way and he quickly closed the door. Pierre pressed a door button and the door opened. Inside he saw sharks swimming around. He quickly closed the door. Jack and Pierre pressed all the door buttons. Inside each door it was different things. In one there was a exploding volcano. Another had a steamroller coming towards Pierre. The other was a ghost walrus (from an episode of Betty Boop)
GHOST WALRUS: (singing) He took her down to Chinatown---------
Pierre opened the last door and it was a scene from Japan, Jack�s home.
PIERRE: Japan?
Jack opened the last one in the right he saw France, Pierre�s home.
SAMURAI JACK: France?
The two warriors turn around to see each other�s home. Each of them ran to the door containing their hometown. Jack thought that his home has being destroyed. He never knew it was restored. Jack placed his hands on the doorframe while putting one foot inside the door. The hologram disappeared. Quickly Jack took back his foot. Then he hid behind the wall picking inside. Then came a black hole that tried to suck him in. Jack quickly pressed the button. The door closed and Jack hears Pierre�s screams for help.
PIERRE: (screaming) JACQUES! HELP!
He turned around to see Pierre holding one paw on the floor with his nails while hanging to his hat with the other.
PIERRE: (shouting) HELP JACQUES, HELP!!! I CANNOT HOLD MUCH LONGER!!!
Jack thought about it quickly and spotted a lamp hanging about the door. Taking a rope out of his kimono he tied to the lamp.
SAMURAI JACK: Pierre, grab on to this, I�ll close the door!
Pierre grabbed the rope and his hat fell off with a quick swift movement from his tail, his tail held his hat. Trying to get away from the black hole, Pierre kelp climbing up the rope. Jack inched around the wall until he reaches the door�s button. With a quick motion he pressed the button to close the door containing the black hole. The door closed quickly, Jack and Pierre were relieve the door was close.
Meanwhile, back at the throne room Aku was still watching them. Aku twitched his eyes; and raising his eyebrows bigger, his fangs made a grinding noise.
He shaked over with anger clenching his fist in desperation. He started to scritch out loud while his flaming eyebrows flare up into the air.
AKU: AAAHH!!! (panting) I cannot believe they over came all my traps! How I hate them both!! They make me so angry that it almost makes MY HEAD EXPLODE!!!
Aku put a hand to his head and felt on his knees.
AKU: Calm yourself Aku. They are just little warriors and nothing more. Beside--- (standing up from the floor) Is not over yet. I still have one more trick up my sleeves.
Meanwhile, back at the hallway, all the doors vanished into thin air, except for one door that was at the center. The warriors ran to the door. Opening the door, Jack was surprise to find another door facing him; which was smaller. He kept opening the doors that got smaller and smaller until he came across one that was as big as a dog�s house. Jack took off his sword in order for him to fit inside the door and carried it. He crawled inside and Pierre followed behind him. They were in a dark room with no light. The small door vanished. They started walking when they got to the middle of the room and they heard a voice.
VOICE: Well, well, well o thought you two would never get here.
Jack recognized Aku�s voice. Suddenly, Aku show up with his flaming eyebrows glowing like two candles in the dark.
PIERRE: Oh mon dieu! It is Aku!
SAMURAI JACK: (pointing his finger at Aku) So it was you who is behind all this treasury.
AKU: Um, so you finally figure it out Samurai.
PIERRE: (pointing a sword at Aku) All right Aku, what have you done with my king and my people?
AKU: (arching his eyebrows) What do you think Musketeer? (grinning evilly to Pierre) Well Musketeer, if you must know, they made excellent slaves.
PIERRE: You shall die d�mon! (angry as he charched over with his sword)
Jack stopped him before he could get to Aku.
SAMURAI JACK: No Pierre, let me handle him.
PIERRE: Why?
SAMURAI JACK: Because I----
Aku started to laugh loudly mucking them.
AKU: HA! HA! HA, HA, HA!
SAMURAI JACK: (staring to Aku in the face ready to action) What is so funny?
AKU: You think Aku came here just to fight you and Pierre, Samurai Jack? (wave his finger at Jack) Wrong! I don�t think so. I have brought you two a little present. (he snapped his fingers)
Aku�s Minions, the Taskmasters and the Beetle Drones show up and circle Jack and Pierre.
SAMURAI JACK: (mockingly) Oh this is a nice present Aku and you forgot to wrap them. (showing a fist to Aku) We beat your minions before and we will do it again!
AKU: True Samurai, very true, but you know the difference not? The odds are against you to fight my minions in the dark. It is called ------ (scary face) Blind battle! If you two succeed in combat, there is one more thing. The floor, which you stand, will crack opened and you both will fall on malten lava. There is no escape. A pity I will not be able to enjoy the show. Now do not be so sad and lonely I will keep my eyes from my throne room. Have unpleasant battle men. (started laughing as he disappeared into thin air)
With Aku gone, Jack and Pierre were completely in the dark. The minions surround them and got closer.
SAMURAI JACK: Pierre, you take care of the Drones, while I battle the Taskmasters.
PIERRE: Very will Jacques.
The Taskmaster and the Beetle Drone ran to attack Jack and Pierre. Jumping in the air at the same time Jack and Pierre missed the minions. Landing in an attack position Pierre and Jack were ready for battle. With a huge blow Jack slashed through must of the Taskmasters. Facing the remaining Taskmasters Jack launch another attack. Fearlessly Pierre started cutting through many Beetle Drones. He raised his claws to strike the Drone.
PIERRE: What�s the matter Dronie? (Striking the Drone) Cat got your tongue?!
While Pierre was facing some Drones for battle one of the Drones came from behind and stroke Pierre�s back with his sickle claws. Pierre fell on the ground and got up mad. Pierre pulled out his shirt, leaving him bear chested. There were scars all over him. He turned around and slashed the Drone. Meanwhile, as Jack was fighting a Taskmaster one of them used a whip and pulled Jack�s sword away from his hands. Jack ran to get his sword but one of the Taskmasters blocked his way. Using one of his claws he slashed Jack�s chest, ripping off his kimono and leaving him bear chested with a fist Jack stroke hard the Taskmaster knocking him to the ground. Jack leaps over the Taskmaster and went after the one who took his sword. With a big kick he knock the Taskmaster to the floor and took back his sword. Then another came Jack flipped backwards to avoid his blow. The Drone came to attack Pierre who flipped backwards also. Jack and Pierre stop flipping backward and position themselves with their swords ready to attack the Drones and the Taskmaster. Jack and Pierre ran into different directions, screaming as they raised their swords to attack.
PIERRE: AAAHH!!
SAMURAI JACK: AAAHH!!
They slashed the minions with their swords destroying all of the minions. Jack and Pierre stop and look around but there were no minions left standing. Suddenly, they heard a rumbling sound and the floor began to crack into pieces. Jack and Pierre noticed the molten lave as they looked at the floor cracks. Just when this were getting worst Jack look up and saw an opening in the ceiling. Taking hold of Pierre�s arm, he raised his sword and jumped really high above the ground going up and through the hole. Jack and Pierre found themselves above the forest ground. Looking at the hold Jack and Pierre saw the hole get smaller and smaller until it disappeared.
PIERRE: T-The hold, it disappear!
SAMURAI JACK: Yes, it did.
Looking at each other Jack and Pierre to laugh when they realized were both bear chested.
SAMURAI JACK AND PIERRE: (laughing)
SAMURAI JACK: (laughing and pointed his finger at Pierre) You and I are even.
PIERRE: (laughs) So I see. Tell me something Jacques, why you would not let mui fight Aku when we were in the room with him?
SAMURAI JACK: It is important that I stop the demon and reclaim my father�s kingdom. When I succeed Aku will not be able to hurt anyone (looking at Pierre with a smile on his face) Including your people.
PIERRE: Oh. So are you leaving right now?
SAMURAI JACK: Yes, I must go. But what about you?
PIERRE: Do not worry about me Jacques. I will be fine. I�ll find my way home.
SAMURAI JACK: (grasped Pierre�s paw with his large, strong hand and gave him a goodbye hand shake) Well, it is been nice fighting the minions with you, Pierre.
PIERRE: Au revoir, Samurai Jacques.
After shaking hands, they went their separate ways. They stop for a minute, turning around and started to smile at each other, and continue walking one their journey home.
