Well over the summer of 2002 i had my Fair share of bumps, bruises, and scars no biggie well one day my friend decided to set up a ramp gapi was like ok so they set it up and we start jumping it. And slowly we pull it farther and further until we no long could make it and we would have to bail so we pulled it back to one of the smallest gaps we had and i was next up i start pushing prob. the fast i have ever pushed before because i was trying to clear the whole landing ramp. I got to the ramp set my body up to go and next thing i know the board just stops instantly (from this point on is what my friends said happened i dont remember) I flew through the air and hit the ground so hard you could hear it. and then bounced 3 times. They said I was out for about 15 seconds and when I came to i got up and walked from the street in front of a car and almost got hit by it and fell into my yard and blackedout again.(this is where i have glimps of what happened) The next thing i knew i was in the house with my mom,then outside and everyone of the kids there prob 20 were gone except one of my friends who lived across from me so we got in the car and drove to the hospital and i was seeing like 4 of everything so i got to the hosptial and set for id say 20 mins in this slow ass hosptial i went back got CAT scanned. And 3 hours later i left the hospital with my head like a mummy wrapped up in bandage with a server concusion and a HUGE headace for about a week. Over the course of that summer i got 2 concuison a sprained knee which i skated with for 1 years and a broken elbow.GREAT SUMMER huh?
