Diocese 2000 and Beyond was established to provide the basis for participation in mission and ministry within the diocese.
Coordinators were appointed to work with parish chairpersons and facilitate the development of these ministries and provide opportunities for involvement on an ongoing basis.
The seven ministries are as follows:
Christian Formation - Worship, Proclamation (homiletics), Music, Drama and Dance, Sacramental Nurture, Prayer and Devotion (spiritually), Prayer Groups/Cell Groups, Renewal Programs, Retreats and Quiet Days, Spiritual Counseling, Sacrament of Penance/Reconciliation.
This includes the ministry of the Order of St. Luke and the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer.

Christian Education - The Ministry of Christian Education covers both the Sunday Schools, Confirmation Instruction and Preparation as well as Adult Education, Training of Teachers, Producing Curricula, Study Groups, Training of Group Leaders, Workshops and Seminars on Biblical Interpretation and related issues, Production and Dissemination of Literature and Tapes, Competitions (inter-parochial - deanery or archdeaconry), Newcomers to the Faith.

The Alpha Course is the main evangelism tool for the Diocese.
