Hi there! I’m Emmy Jo! I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember! If there was a pencil and a paper near me, doodles would soon find their way onto the page. Whenever I open one of my bags, there’s an odd assortment of pens, pencils, markers and even paintbrushes, just in case of a creative emergency. I often will catch myself daydreaming about what I want to draw or paint. Because I’ve been painting and drawing for such a long time, I’ve accumulated quite a bit of art throughout the years.
This drawing of a girl is a classic example of what you might see if you were to take a peek into one of my various sketchbooks. I love the human face and the delicate features that make a person unique. I love capturing people, places, and feelings. Although I don’t know that I could ever exactly portray what it is like to be someone else, I show others what I think it would be like through my art.
