Summary - Copper Sage is a custom decor shop that my wife and I are opening. We use a CNC machine and 3D printers to make custom signs and decorations.
Content - This website would contain listings with pictures and discriptions for individual products, a cart/ ecommerce function, and promotional videos of how the products are made. There will be a few main navigational tabs on the homepage, and a page where customers can submit custom requests for a quote.
Competition - Walmart.com: Walmart sells very generic home decor, and doesn't offer custom options. Their website isn't focused strictly on decor becuase they sell a wide variety of products. Target.com: Very similar to Walmart, their website is easily navigated but not focused on their decor products. I dislike their bold color schemes. Both of these websites have generic, "warehouse"-style pictures of their products.
Purpose - The purpose of this website is to market and sell our CNC machined and 3D printed signs and decor.
Desired Result - We desire to have a functional ecommerce site from which to run our business's online presence.
Target Audience - Primarily Suburban housewives, along with anyone else who is interested in home decor.
