People are not born equal, but, nevertheless, they all should/must have the same basic rights as human beings and the similar responsibilties towards society (in accordance with their intelectual and physical potentials). The most important, all the people should/must be treated in the same way by the law and justice institutions.
Yugoslav nation was imagined like a weird idea of a "supra-surrogate-nation" and it was something most similar either to the US Nation-al Utopia or to Nothingness (otherwise called DREAM). As you can see, taken purely semantically, the "American Dream" is a slow but sure way to hell. Dream is for dreamers and real life is for realistic people. Realistic people must be in charge if anyone expects the dreamers' dream to become true. Yugoslavia was an example of a society where dreamers tried to be "virtual reality" makers. And we all know how that supra-national "experiment" is finished.
People are acting in accordance with natural and social (gregarious) laws and the "call of the herd" would hardly ever be eradicated from the human heart. Division is in the mere centar of human "prosperity and success" ("War is the father of all"). Being alive means being greedy; and it is "normal" and intrinsic to all living creatures. A human being cannot fulfill its greed as an (sole) individual; therefore, he learned a long time ago that the hunting in packs was/is the most "lucrative" way to the objects of its/our unquenchable desire.
The world wouldn't exist without competition and competition (or war if you like) is immanent to the whole universe. One death causes one birth and viceversa

(the law of conservation of energy!

). Races, nations, compatriots, people of my street - all the same, all this "packing" has the only one goal - to secure the "booty" (salary, pay; Serb. plata) in the most easiest way.
Yes, the Danes are much better "packed" than Serbs; i.e. Serbs are still trying to organize themselves as a real and functional association (mob!) of "nationally conscious and responsible individuals". The Serbs and the other Balkan people are now experiencing the epoch of "nationalisms" the Danes and other Europeans "exercised" (exorcised!) through the XIX and the first half of the XX-th century.
