Winter regime:-
Diet:-
· Longer nights of winter, results in more hunger especially, early morning. In this season sweet, sour and salty taste food can be taken. Wheat, black gram flour, milk product like cheese, and butter should be used in daily food. Edible oil is recommended for cooking.
· Beef, pork, meat product should be taken. Sea food is also recommended.
· After food, wine prepared from jaggery will help to digest the food.
Lifestyle:-
‘Abhyanga’, massaging the body with medicated oils is highly recommended. Stimulation of vital points with the oil massage helps to rejuvenate the body. Warm water is highly recommended for bath.
· Morning exercise is highly recommended with ‘yoga’ and ‘meditation’. One should not exercise immediately after taking food, and should not feel hungry before exercise. Do not exercise beyond the capacity of your body.
· Woolen, silk, and cotton clothes should be used to keep body warm. Warm foot wear can also be used.
· Outdoor activities in sunlight, indoor activities with warm room heater will help the body in cold weather.
· For sleep, use thick sheet, warm blanket should be used.
· Sexual pleasuring activities with the partner are recommended for health.
