and deep coverage, the author inspects three types of sources,
namely, primary, secondary and tertiary. The author uses phrases
like Singapore strategic monitoring information service e-commerce
on meta-search engines like MegaSpider and Copernic to locate the
relevant websites. Attempts are made with different combinations of
the individual keywords and their variations in the phrase on other
general-purpose search engines like Hotbot, Yahoo and Excite but more
irrelevant results are produced.

This reports explores the
available information sources on e-commerce for setting up a
strategic tracking service. While the market looks promising, the
author still find it not feasible to venture into this area, the
reason being the constraint of limited resources and capability in
building a sizable professional network which are all crucial for
sustaining or growing the service. However, this report may be
useful for companies or information agencies that intend to open a
new service or function that leverage on their existing contacts,
resources and infrastructures.
