After numerous fail attempt to salvage my
ECS P4M890T, I finally give in and switch to another reasonable priced brand -
Biostar G31-M7 costing me S$95 at some neighborhood computer shop.
It turns out to be a surprisingly good budget mainboard that works fine with my low end
Pentium DualCore E2160 and even support high-end CPUs upto 1600MHz FSB. Its G31 chipset run Intel
GMA 3100 which is more than sufficient horsepower for web surfing, business applications and any casual gaming.
