"Baby Judge"
--Briana G. Richardson
Baby Judge,
Oh Baby Judge,
Why does the sex of the baby matter?
God himself thinks that children,
Not just boys,
But also girls,
Are a precious gift,
So should we all.
In his eyes,
Abortion is a sin, so is killing.
Baby Judge,
Oh Baby Judge,
The love and affection,
Between mother and children is sacred and divine,
I know this just by watching my mother.
Yes i'm a girl, and alive,
I have God to thank for that.
He gave me a mother that doesn't care what sex
Her children are,
She still loved them with all her heart,
Yes till the day she died.
Every moment that we shared together
Was like a precious gift from God,
Who gave her the heart and energy
To spend time with me even though she was slowly passing away at last.
Baby Judge,
Oh Baby Judge,
How she raised me so,
To be the woman that I am now,
Who will always love children,
Not just boys,
But,
Yes,
Also girls!!
Briana (in pic),Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, US : My favorite place, I've realized, that there really wasn't any place that I love more, than being in my mom's arms or with anywhere. Anywhere she was, that became my favorite place, that is except when she was in the hospital slowly leaving, passing away. My best friend would have to be my mother, and her name is Diane Richardson. I don't recall getting that close with anyone as close as i goten with my own mother. And my inspiration, would have to be life and my mother.

I would be the son who would carry on his name".

"...I think gov. should make it possible for others to be able to adopt these precious babies. It is very sadening to my heart to read of abuse and know what goes on in the world. If I could I would take all of them. lol I adore children".

Thank you for your kind invitation. I have been to your page quite some time ago and made a connection to your site (comments were somewhat disabled at the time). I am aware of the problem and as you may know, many people in North America have adopted baby girls from China for similar reasons - they fill the orphanages. It is now against the policy of hospitals in the city of Vancouver to disclose the sex of the child after ultrasound because so many new citizens from yours and from other like-minded cultures were making the choice to terminate pregnancies after learning the baby was a girl. This is something very foreign to Canadian thinking and as a nation; we hope that it disappears with the second generation of new Canadians. Though we are a freethinking nation and open to cultural differences, it will not be tolerated here. Many cultural differences around the world result in practices that are abhorrent to others and I applaud your efforts to make change in your nation. There are no bad people, just bad decisions. But you must change the reasons within your society that makes this decision acceptable. Only then will it stop. My outrage, or the outrage of others around the world is pointless... action is the answer. Hopefully you have many within your nation who wish to affect these changes!

Selective abortions, if the baby is a girl!!
"...But the men and women in our technical age risk becoming victims of their own intellectual and technical achievements, ending up in spiritual barrenness and emptiness of heart:, said Pope Benedict XVI marked his first Christmas as pope.
The 21st Century, technology is being used in this world to fashion a future without women, or with very few of them. Is this progress? The use of technology, devised to detect genetic abnormalities, to determine the s..e ..x of the child, only a few people were alarmed. The media was virtually unresponsive, The problem seemed restricted to the metros. We thought that only the better off could afford the technology. No one expected that within two decades, s..e..x-detection techniques would become so wide-spread, and affordable, that they would be available all over the world!!
It is an irony of fate that the moment it is discovered by the ultra sound machines that the child inside mother's womb is a female child - mothers of the different societies around the globe resort to selective abortion!! It is worse in some parts of the world, they adopt gruesome violence of female infanticide!!; Even in the developed nations like United States, a woman who has a boy out of wedlock is much more likely to marry the father than if she has a girl, according to US Economists. (Reuters)
Selective abortion of female foetuses to avoid a daughter in preference to a son would lead to decimination of girl children. This would lead to higher crime rate and erosion of moral values.
(Many friends feel that as I was an affected person to this and it was not true. I have taken 'neglected girl babies', a big social evil - as a subject. I am projecting this issue, just to bring to the kind notice of the like thinking people who care and concern for human dignity and values. I would like to make a low budget children movie on this subject titled "Baby Judge". . Regards. Ganapathi Rao. Sanku).
