PEASANT + opentable.com : July 9, 2006
On Friday night, Ani and I went to Peasant, on Elizabeth Street. And what a wonderful place it is! highly recommend the Gnocchi -- and the chesse wrapped in bacon appetizer.
We sat at the bar but were still able to spy the beautiful brick oven - and the beautiful people in back. The openness of the space, rarely found in NYC, was pleasant at Peasant. ;)
I didn't take a photo of it to post -- but as I was trying to find one on the ole web, i encountered this thing : OPENTABLE.com. Not only does it have a good synopsis of eatries -- but it lets you make reservations online...nice!
