Was in Toronto this week, visiting Ani. Was fun to walk thru the numerous diverse neighborhoods, and see the billions of flags representing the world cup countries. Portugal, Brazil, England - and many Italian flags, as their lil Italy community celebrated its heritage.
But the really cool find was the Distillery District. A quaint area with a blend of newer gourmet stores/ shops/ eateries -- and old school liqour-making plants. My favorite part was the architectural mix - blend of new & old. I took this photo of us in a wonderful little coffee shop that is housed in a former barn or school-house; featuring lofted ceilings - distressed brick - and a gorgeous bar.
Am lovin' toronto more and more as I continue to explore.
