the sky : December 4, 2006
sometime the sky is amazing - often in my youth when i looked at landscape paintings by the masters, i'd think - WOW - amzing how they dreamt the sky that way. it looks so bizarre - but very real at the same time. as i've gotten older and traveled more, i realize that for some of those artists, their creations might not have been much of a stretch at all. i took this photo of the sky upon my return home to nyc yesterday evening. pretty incredible. you could probably better see th details, if i hadn't taken the photo from a 50mph moving cab, but hopefully its still enough to inspire you the way it did me.
