hoops for elders : August 23, 2006
i'm gettin' old. played ball yesterday with my friend scott - his brother and their friends. it's cool that firms rent out gyms in the city so that their employees can exercise after work. even cooler that they invite other people, like me. anyhow, now i have to stretch before i play - and i'm sore today from only an hour of playing. i remember the good ole days when i could play for hours and be fine. oh well - a small price to pay for wisdom, i guess. fun fact : my uncle gary went to college at baruch - the gym at which i played last night. wonder if he's been back since the 70s...
