Poetry is a way to express yourself...many famous writers became famous by first publishing a collection of their poetry. All of you have some relationship with poetry and I want you to grab ahold of those memories for a moment. In pencil or pen, write a 1page or 1+1/2pages about your experiences and challenges with poetry. Don't lie and say you love poetry if you actually hate it. Write about scary teachers that made you write poetry...and so on and so forth. I am pleased to announce that there will be a poetry bulletin posted every once in a while thanks to the Poetry Unit that starts tomorrow December 12th, 2007. I will update anually as always.
