Religious fervor is spreading throughout this country, the zealots that cultivate this mania, grow bolder .   This week 700 Club broadcaster stated that America should assasinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  Such radical declarations from a public and representative Evangelical Christian shows the direction that Christian behavior & the American public in general, may be headed.  This coming from Robertson, follows a 21 day "prayer offensive" he called for in June to "ask for miracles in regard to the Supreme Court" whos decriminalization of sodomy, according to Robertson, "has opened the door to homosexual marriage, bigamy, legalized prostitution and even incest."

This man who is representative of a religion whos primary tenets are supposed to be humility and peace,  is advocating the murder of a world leader as well as asking Americans to hope for the incapacitation or death of our Supreme Court Justices,  expand his fundamentalist agenda.

To me this shows the dangerous popularity of religious fanaticism in America.  Our only hope is if the general public sees the hazards like Robertson imposes on our free society & do something to put an end to the March of Ignorance.
