result of the revolutionary DIGIC II image processor. DIGIC II
enhances all facets of image quality from suppressing noise to
improving white balance. Plus it allows you to record in movie
mode at an incredible 60 frames per second. With the SD500 you
can: zoom in and out while shooting video, playback your videos in
5 slow motion speeds, even edit your movie clips on the large 2.0
inch LCD. New to the ELPH line-up is the "My Colours"
function. For a unique effect use the LCD to manipulate and swap
the colour of your subject while shooting in real-time. The SD500
also has a 3x optical zoom lens and several shooting modes for
effortless operation. You can even print on the spot as the SD500
connects directly to any Canon Direct Print, Bubble Jet Direct or
PictBridge compatible photo printer.
