Sheldon Brown died a few days ago.  He was a fantastic source of information for all things bicycle related.  Yeah, he kinda looked (at least in his photo) like he came off the set of Pan's Labyrinth.  But with a flag topper affixed to his helmet, who could say he didn't know a good time?
