Arthur Neville Chamberlain was born March 18, 1869 into a political family.  His father, Joseph Chamberlain, was Lord Mayor of Birmingham.  It was a post Neville would also hold on his way to becoming Prime Minister of England in 1937.  It would be in the post, held until 1940, that Chamberlain would achieve lasting infamy as the man who gave away Czechoslovakia to Nazi Dictator Adolf Hitler in 1938.  It was at that time that Chamberlain became the world's first Patron Saint of Appeasement, honorary (post-mortem) leader of the Liberal Church.

It's important to remember, of course, that the Liberal Church of today is not the same as the Church of yesteryear.  There was a time when going to Church meant worshipping one's conception of God.  These days, as epitomized by the Liberal Establishment's new found "freedom from religion", it is the Church of Liberalism, as author Ann Coulter calls it, that is the most popular religious establishment in America.  Worshipping at the altar of Liberalism is a fairly simple process.  First, one has to acknowledge the faith principle that God does not exist in any meaningful way.  Second, one has to through away the 'conservative' moral trappings of all post-Renaissance western civilization.  And finally, one must espouse causes like abortion and gay rights.  Having reduced oneself to this amusing but unprincipled state of complete inanity, the convert to Liberalism, must learn to chant the prayers, such as "Bush Lied, Kids Died" and "Down with the Man".  The rookie liberal can now take his rightful place among the liberal elite; hobnobbing with profound thinkers like Barbra Streisand, Al Franken, George Clooney, and the Kennedy Clan follows shortly.

What has this to do with Mr. Chamberlain?  I'll tell you.  As Patron Saint of Appeasement, Chamberlain is one of the few acknowledged founders of the modern Church.  His policies are taught in all Liberal madrassas as goals that students should be inspired to attain to.  And it is specifically his title's namesake policy of appeasement that is primary course material.  As proof of this deep and mystical religious education's continuing success, one need only look so far as the Left-Wing platform on the world's first Post-Modern Hitler, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  Ahmadinejad has stated openly that his goals include the destruction of Israel and the development of nuclear weapons. 

The appeasers now see an opportunity to let yet another evil man rise to global power.  But they don't intend to sit by and let chips fall where they may.  Oh no, they intend to actively disrupt all attempts to stop Ahmadinejad from achieving his frighteningly Hitler-esque goals.  Modern day appeasers include such unlikely allies as United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and former presidential candidate and Nixon wordsmith Patrick Buchanan.  It's amazing how easily new converts like Buchanan have settled into the shadow cast by St. Neville.  And its frightening how many new converts the Church of Appeasement gets each year.  This is a process that must be stopped, and early on.  To use an oft-cited quote, "Do you know where your kids are?"
