The dove egg has finally hatched! When I went up to feed & water everyone this morning about 11:00 am, the little pink squab was there; yolk sac still attached & looking about as cute as could be. Isis and Remus are happily attending their little one. When I checked in this afternoon, Isis was carrying the empty egg shell around in her beak. I am so happy for them, because they have really sat tight on this egg, though I am very surprised it made it through the move. I am hoping to get some photos within the next few days and will post them as they come.
