We are all moved into the new place now. I brought all of the birds over here on Monday evening and allowed them to settle in before we started moving the big furniture and things. I seperated the babies today as I noticed that Janet has been plucking the white baby and a couple of the others. I'd rather not let that bad habit start and I really don't want bald finches Image

Anyway, I seperated everyone and gave them a check up. Made a list while doing so and these are my conclusions. Now, no one has colored up yet, but there are a few tell-tale signs, such as feathers coming in under the wings with spots that give away the males. A couple of them even raised their head feathers and attempted to bite when I caught them! They are really getting big for their britches, lol, and don't realize their size. It's a good sign, though, and lets me know everyone is heathly.
